Same as Ian, best T1 and T3.:)

Edit: Splits aren't totally accurate, a bug in the replay I think.

Hey WLes, I didn't say hi when you returned.
It's great to have you back, and boy have you become fast! 👍

This combo is really frustrating :scared: ...the first hour i was looking for the right racing line and the second hour i fixed my problems with turn 5. Finaly i managed a T1 time of 28.517 and a T2 time of 1'01.233.

But i think that my T3 time is to bad to be submitted. I fear that T3 is not very competitive. Perhaps i'll give this combo another chance during the next days.

I'm not going to run this week, too afraid of loosing my touch on the 86, but thought I might share this with you guys. I'm an avid reader and used book buyer, and three years ago I came across this ...

Must read for anyone interested in how Detroit operated in the 60's and early seventies when they were bigger than life.
Now take a look at those sideburns :D

Also responsible for the Pontiac GTO by the way

Finally got the T2 I knew I could. Not sure if I can do any better, or if I will torture myself any more searching for a tenth or two, we'll see :)

Proud to say that I lived in the Motor City during that time and seen it all first hand. I also had many relatives who worked in the auto industry. Great and memorable times those were. 👍

After a couple of almosts, 134 ms improvement. With a car that has not had its 1000 km checkup, if I recall.

Like last time, I needed more than a half an hour to even get in, to remember and invent what's required. 3rd sector is actually poor, I had a better one this session.

Well, managed to log over 1500 miles so far. Only a small improvement at the line as of now, but nothing really worth noting. I know I said I wasn't going to do a ton of miles on this one, but I got another really great person helping me along this week and I really don't want to let him down. So, a warrior does as a warrior is....I shall soldier on. :)

Thanks again @Ed_Night your time and knowledge is greatly appreciated.

I'm reaching my peak with this, had a couple of 1'00.7/8 T2s, only to watch my ghost sail past me so I must have had a fairly good T3.

1,500 miles is amazing @GTP_CargoRatt, I'd be in a straight-jacket if I did that many miles!!

Saying that, my mileometer's saying 124 miles so, with restarts etc, I must be a 3rd of the way there :odd::mad::boggled:

We used to have a programme called Record Breakers in the UK, years ago, presented by Roy Castle.

Here's the end song Mitch, 'Dedication'.

EDIT: I couldn't find the clip I really wanted

Well, here is my small improvement for the day. :(

28.416
1'01.050

Still trying however, this could go well into the early morning hours again.

So... I assume the Two Wheel Rule [even if airborne] applies here and that I'm good, right?View attachment 293136

I'm doing one more week with this DS3 and then I'm not doing this **** again until my rigs are done. Playing with this DS3 is going to make me lose my last hundred or so hairs.

Thanks again @Ed_Night I owe you big time for all your help. There is no way I could have gotten this far without your help. 👍 I hope you don't mind, but I just hired you as my private tutor. :sly: The check is in the mail. ;)
