Your response here is not really appropriate if you ask me. You indeed touched the wall, and a fairly obvious one. It was noticeable visually and audibly. It is a rule here that you should not submit a lap until you are 100% sure it's clean. If you are not 100% sure, consider it dirty, or check if its clean yourself before you submit it.
