Nice lap. A tire width to spare on the chicane :)

Thanks Sam. That, I think is my biggest problem, leaving too much on the track! I need to figgure out how to really push it instead of concentrating on being clean!

But I don't know where the "2" came from in your post for my position?

Time and spec's correct.

Nice clean lap Lefty, congrats on the podium finish. 👍

Firstly, a big slap on the back to everyone who ran this week. A very tricky car to tame on a very technical circuit. Great job everyone.

Individual kudos to -

My mate Jonas. A very dominant win my friend, fantastic. 👍 All my best sectors would still have left me just over 2 tenths down. You do like this track eh? Congratulations too on your first win - feels good doesn't it? And no, you're not sorry to beat me at all, so you can give that up. :sly:

My mate Joao for chasing me down and proving he really does belong in D1. Nice one mate. 👍

Blair for killing his handicap once again. Another step towards D2 👍

Matt for supreme dedication this week with such a handful of a car. Great going mate. 👍

Mark (T-L) for effortlessly knocking me down to 3rd with his 10 minute stint :sly: Close one but if you'd run more, I would've been more than tenth off I think. 👍

Lefty for running an insane 4 speed setup  :P

Tim for the combo and for running a D1 standard 4th sector :P 👍

Congratulations as due to all division winners and podiums but like I said to start, everyone deserves congrats just for surviving the week.

Here's my replay video if anyone wants a look:

And my replay:

Thanks Sam ...
But I don't know where the "2" came from in your post for my position?

You are welcome. I believe the 2 stands for division. I'm kind of new at this (posting on WRS). I just copied what someone else did.

As for leaving too much on track, I wish I had your problems. I'm still trying to stay on track :banghead:

The number people are copying refers to the interdivisional placement.
The color refers to the Division.

Division 2:

1---1'46.513---GTP_Biffy (Replay Needed)
2---1'46.610---GTP_Insatiable (Replay Needed)
3---1'46.613---GTP_Hydro (Replay Needed)
4---1'46.701---GTP_ASH32
5---1'46.754---GTP_viper84
6---1'46.771---GTP_WRP001
7---1'46.910---GTP_jack5428
8---1'47.017---GTP_transamguy
9---1'47.128---GTP_Gravitron
10--1'47.293---GTP_ConRollins (Replay Needed)

So your "2" should've been "10". ;)

@ Vagabond, "Dude" watching you drive reminds me of when I used to watch the Pro moto-x guys run on the same track that I just got off of because my under class would always run prior to there's. I would always walk away after there race was over and shake my head as I though to my self "I have to go that fast to beat those guys?" The alien thing fits because that was about as perfect a run as could be expected. You are a true talent 👍

Just about to review GTP_Jammy's replay.

EDIT:
user118395pic1573412914.gif
GTP_Jammy

You take a very good line around almost all of the track - the only thing I can say is that it all looks quite cautious, braking a little too early and cautious on the exits, this is where a lot of time was there to be gained. With a very powerful car and the risk of spinning, I understand the desire to be smooth though and you certainly know how to hit the apexes - the more WRS'ing you do the more the speed will increase :)

Thanks for feedback! I noted same thing when i watch my driving, but when i driving it's hard to get braking ja accelerating right...so more time trails and practise :)

@ Vagabond....
Thanks alot Lefty, I appreciate that but mate, I don't think of myself as an alien at all - I look at guys like Ramon (eclipsi) or Timo (Timpaq) and think exactly the same thing as you. I can occasionally get a fastest sector time equivalent to an alien but keeping up over a whole lap is usually well beyond me. Jonas was the alien this combo and I couldn't have caught him if we had another week to run it... I realise I'm pretty fast mostly and I'm in D1 so I'm not going to play false humility but the last few tenths that separate me and the resident aliens may as well be a few seconds.

I agree, that lap was a pleasure to watch, Chris. 👍 Taught me a few tricks for tonight's race too, for which I'm well unprepared. :scared:

EDIT: Specifically, the hairpin before Schumacher, I was taking a totally different (slower) line...deep to the left, trying to late-apex the exit. Probably a few tenths right there.

Nice lap Chris, by far a better job than I could have done on that combo 👍

As for the last part of your post I couldn't agree more, amazes me how the top guys find those extra tenths. It doesn't half frustrate me as well though :lol:

Here is my replay. I really loved this combo and was unable to run my usual laps due to family and life. They do come first. Congrats to all podium winners and to all that ran this weeks TT.

Al

I must clarify, I didn't just sit down for 10 minutes and put up that time, and it certainly didn't come easy.
Yes it was my first session, but it was a solid 2 maybe 3 hours of going as hard as I could.
Also I did about an hour the next (and final) day and did a few more 1'45.9s but no improvement.
Major cudos to Yanaran, it would have taken me several more looong sessions (or a miracle tune) to beat your time.
Keep up the good work!
Replay will be posted shortly sorry for the delay.

Here's my replay for this week.

I'd review academic's replay for week 60, but the download lists the driver as jack5428.
Replay still show's as HS Ring.

Ok Viper, I'm slowly catching on that you left a Hyperlink for me to follow! Lesson learned. This was getting frustrating, thanks for the help.

Phew :scared:
I had hoped there was something lost in translation there. Otherwise you would have had your 'scary fast driver' status changed to 'Terrifying Alien' asap.

Great to see you can dominate online as well 👍 - Yes that's a bit sarcastic, but in a very jealous / impressed context :) 👍
Great Week Mark

Thanks as always to Chris for posting a solid tune. It made all the difference, esp. once I remembered to turn on AS ;) - it was kind of nuts before that.

Congrats to all the podium drivers 👍 and a big 👍 to my arch-nemesis Biffy.
We should stick to TT's- it's really hard to run into eachother
Nice D2 win Jordan, a tenth is hard to swallow, but admittedly, Insatiable's .003 is proving to be impossible :D

Great week guys, here's my replay - NTSC

Was active steering faster for this combo?
Never gave that a try, oh well :P
