I did that bus stop through 4th gear early on and took me a while to catch my ghost through there even if i had gained .8+ seconds at T2. But trying to do it all the time I was messing up relatively good laps

Thanks for checking my replay Animera. There are some replays I'd love to watch but sadly I don't have any free time this week. And I gotta thank EDK for the idea, I fell in love with a track that I used to dislike.

If you stay in fourth through the bus stop and try to minimize steering input through there you could probably take close to a second off your lap time.

Thanks for checking my replay!

I didn't know 4th gear was better for this turn, but I doubt that I've could have been almost a second faster ;). I've been faser through the bus stop though. But putting everything together in one lap is almost impossible at my level of skill :).

Well your skill level is definitely at least Div 3 (which I'm quite sure we'll see you in before this week ends) I just compared your splits with mine and saw that you were less than 5/10 slower at T3 but 1,4 seconds after at the line which means that you lost nearly a second to me in the bus stop. Please be aware that my bus stop was not exceptional in any way since I in turn lost half a second to Animera, whose bus stop _was_ stunning.

You've got to be ballsy through the bus stop. It'll make or break your lap. It's a great thing for a circuit to have, but you wouldn't want it on all circuits.

Were there only twelve racers in the Bronze 4'th division, or did I actually beat someone? Either way, this takes Gran Turismo to a whole new level, "The rythm is the bass and the bass hits the treble.". So here is the replay.

On another note, I've got to figure out this racing lingo like "bus stop"?

The bus stop is the last chicane, the turn just after T3. Basically, a way of saying, a turn that makes you practically come to a complete stop. But this one is pretty tricky.

Everyone who submitted a time has a posted result, so you did not beat anyone, this time.

If it makes you feel any better, I was nearly last place in my first WRS also.

I'll have a look at your replay a little later, and give you a brief writeup. 👍

Cool Thanks Ed! I'm just happy to be racing against people. I would rather be the worst among people, than the first among A.I.. You guys are all very fast (perception is everything I geuss).

Had a chance to view your replay.

In general, I think the TC and ASM (Aids) slowed you down some. If you could train yourself to drive without it, you'll improve.

In the early turns, you have decent lines, but you should focus on hitting your apexes. Running wide is costing you a bit of time. Make sure you get to the inside of the turn, end even clip the rumble, in most cases.

You lost a lot of time at the bus stop. You were not close enough to the right wall on approach, and did not use the entire track coming through it. Shifting down to 2nd cost you a lot of time, and you need to be more aggressive, in general, to be fast through there. I suggest watching some of the posted replays, or watching some of the online top 10. Those will show you the correct lines for the areas in question.

In only hope that helps. You had good car control, but this one really needs to be pushed to get the most out of it.

Kevin

I knew I should be more aggressive. I am constantly concerned that I will "lose it" so I run farely conservative lines. I geuss for week 64 I should take the aids off and hot lap it for a while. I'm hoping that this might pay off in real world driving (everyone's a racecar driver on the back roads :) ) Time for fun!

Congrats to all podiums and div winnars and the promted drivers. Well done guys. and everybody who had fun during this week event.
