Very unhappy with my last sector,i think nerves got to me a little bit. I still have not reached my personal goal.

I must say I have no real troubles envisioning a T1 split such as that but how anyone can go from T1 to T2 in 18.213 is beyond me.

I haven't given up as yet... remember final lap time is what counts :) Hopefully mine is faster than yours... but to be certain, I'll be putting in a few more laps.

Competition really does drive someone.. I hate, I repeat hate driving MR cars, in the 2 years+ I owned GT5P I probably drove any Lotus more than 2 laps. That's my downfall as I've never previously strive to get better at handling MR cars

In this case "you get what you pay for" is really true. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the DFGT but the G25 is better, especiallythe pedals.


I just did a 9.96X T1 followed by a 28.3XX T2 immediately followed by a spin in the very next turn.
 
I have slightly cut time to my first two sectors but at the end, I gained 3 thenths at the line.

That is very frustrating lol and I guess everyone here got to face it number of times too. Be strong, and continue mate :sly:

Thanks alot for the help g25 it is .
I think this happened to all of us you know after you exit the corner after the tunnel that you are doing a very fast lap then you cross the T2 and you look up the screen to see the time you got and the adrenaline kicks in then Boom horrible corner and you 've ruined your lap ,Happened to me 291 times:)
 
Did my first laps with Prolog after 6 weeks racing only the Academy. What a difference. :crazy:

Finally had a second stint at this combo. It sure is fun, but not the easiest combo we've had :)

T1: 10.266
T2: 29.193

Only small improvement on my T2, but shaved 1.1 seconds off my total time, so I'm happy :sly:

I'm still way off the pace in my division though...

It freaks me out the splits you guys have and then you talk about you made mistakes and you can do better...

What did you guys do to get so good... is it just natural talent? repetition? what resources are there for me to use to reach this level?

Try posting in the WRS pitbox iCyCo. I've found that most, not all, but most of the established members only talk among themselves in here. I'm not good enough to give you any advice either, but I would imagine, since GTPlanet has been around for 7 or more years, its just practice that makes perfect 👍

Had some good runs up the hill and some ok T1's, but I've lost my pace, I think exiting the left before T1, not being able to get a run, but still a reasonable T1?? Anyway the overall is what counts, but I'd like to reach my potential.

This track has a great "unknown" factor, as the rest of the lap is longer than the first 2 sectors and has thrice the number of turns. :D

One of my favourites for this type of hotlapping format.👍
 
I saw one T1 of 9.892, but then proceeded to completely mess up T3, before I ran my current splits and fastest lap.
 
The best t1 I can recall was a .94 for me but I'm not the fastest so..........

My current best lap has a 28.511 t2 with a bad last sector, gave away .2 from my best and .4 to the fasties. I'd post my splits all proper like but I dont show on the board anyway :P

Must say its a very interesting combination of track/car. Not a track I usually enjoyed when I was playing back in 2008, but this time round its really fun. :)

theres much more time to be had there, but the tunnel frightens me. :scared:

Better first section but lost a little down to T2, still trying to perfect the up hill bit.

Losing a lot of time on to cleaner lap I think.
