Not sure who Brandon is,but you're right-at those sort of speeds,he's certainly not hanging about :)

Cheers for the tips 👍
@roamer2629 not quite hitting those speeds yet,but getting closer.
As for the right then left hander,I think my mistake was trying to take in one go,kinda like a chicane instead of two separate corners,i'm now braking for the right hander, turn in,back on the throttle,a dab of brake and swing it left and floor it into the short straight.Anyways my initial splits...
I am using the shadow on the left wall as a braking and turn in point, jabbing the brake and shifting down, then shifting back up and on full throttle for the left had turn part of it. The change down helps get the car pointed and makes it more consistent for me, but it's probably not faster than just keeping it in 3rd.

Apologies,it was late when I posted that last night, and I forgot to mention i'm also dropping to second for the right hander, but not shifting up until i'm on the short straight before the wall, hmmm may have to try shifting that bit earlier...

I've found that shifting back up to 3rd and hammering the throttle right away settles the car and gets it pointed for that exit. If you try keeping it in 2nd, you are going to think you don't have enough grip to get back on it yet, but going up to 3rd allows you to avoid wheel spin and get on the throttle sooner.

Again, maybe not the very fastest, but seems consistent for me in a corner that would normally be a bit of a craps shoot.

Made up quite a bit on my previous splits, even putting down an absolute blinder, til I checked the replay and saw i'd just clipped a hay bale with my rear wing on the way out of the wall section,oh well...

7.650
28.333
45.950

@EDK i've a got a couple of hours planned later so will give it a go 👍

Got a valid save now but nowhere near as fast at T3 :(

7.383
26.850
43.616

I have a tenth or 2 still in the tank with a sweet run... but can get nowhere near a 7.2 at T1  seems my start off the line isn't as good as I thought and have hit a .366 at T1 more than ever it's like groundhog day :P

Great splits Brandon... will take some real effort to try and match them 👍

You have a rear wing?

Tuning is prohibited, and that includes added parts.

I think theres been a bit of a misunderstanding, here in the UK the side body panels at the front and back are called "wings",certainly no added parts or tuning.
Thats just cheered me up no end for some reason

Thanks Ron. There is a mid 26.6 left to get to T2 and a tenth left in T3. Probably a tenth or two in T4 from me as well.

If you would like the secret to T1, I can either tell you or give you a bit to figure it out on your own. :)

I've tried all sorts from starting in 2nd gear and dropping to 1st and flooring it from the buzzer... to slow revs up from 1000 revs and slowly accelerating... in fact all sorts of combinations and I still cant find it? :dopey: I haven't tried a 3rd gear start yet but I cant see it being that :D whatever it is I need to find it soon or I will pull the last of my grey hair out! haha 👍

I tried two times a slowish accelerator starting from before t0, and got a 7.330 (half-way?) on the second go. Not sure if it should be 4k or 6k at the start.

Hold at 2k RPM and floor it right before it let's you launch so you launch at 2500. Now the tricky part. At the point your tires normally start to lose traction, let off the accelerator and immediately floor it again. If done right, your tires wont light up and you won't need to countersteer.

I think the kmh is 12-15. Not sure exactly.

Found it just a few minutes ago and came here to let you know that the penny had dropped :D but see you posted it anyway 👍 testing only starts so far and a best of .272 👍 now I need to string it together in a lap, Thanks for sharing anyway mate

I don't mind sharing things with anyone, but I usually give them a bit to experiment with different things to see if they can figure it out. That way when a new combo comes about they can go down the list of things to try. Obviously not the case for someone of your caliber, but you understand

He's edited his post , lap was invalid , track edge not set to real ..

Calm down dude, your splits are getting crazy fast :scared::lol:..

After the embarrassing result from Week 75, I want to make sure to not repeat that.

*sorry for the double post. Didn't pay attention above. My apologies

I'm having an issue pulling my T1 time off the replay. When I rewind from the T2 spot, it goes all the way back to the beginning.

Edit - Calculated T1 off a subsequent run (halfway between .380 and .396/.397 that a replay-based split would be), T2/T3 from the replay:

7.388
27.350
45.166

I've got nothing left.
