All good times, clean, correct tires and fuel, no turbos. Nice laps folks 👍

Thanks for reviewing Phil. 👍

Hoping to do a bit better, but D3 top guys are too good! [hats off] On Monday afternoon, had a lap that was 2 sec better, but then ran wide at the last turn before the straight :(

Biggest thing I learned was to keep tires from overheating. Specially accelerating out of 2nd turn, I could get in to 20.6xx when I squeeze the pedal slowly than flooring it. But, just couldn't get a clean lap once I got the hang of it. Anyway, here's the evidence.

Need some help/advice. Is this in or out?

Nürburgring 24h.jpg

It is at the entrance to the final chicane before leaving the infield section.

It can only be seen with the camera due to how when taking a photo it always backs the car up a little. Shot before (frame 250)and the tire is on the red rumble, shot after (frame 284)and the tire is on the bricks.

This was taken at 267 where the tire looks to be on the bricks until the photo is taken.

A little bit of the tire seems to be on the kerb, but it looks like it's going out in the next frame or two (hard to capture I know).

Is that me :scared:?

No, That is Pilmat's replay. We received a request to review the lap as well, but Ron beat me to the thread.
At 1:22.250 the frozen replay shows the tire where it is in the pic, but the pic doesn't work properly unless you freeze the replay at 1:22.267 which is where Ron's pic was taken.

As a result, the lap is Dq'd due to the car being off track.

No. I checked your replay and it looks clean. A super close call at Eiskurve, but was a clean lap.

:embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed:
I looked over the replay myself and was not even slightly worried! How did I miss that?!?

There is a point out back (on the uphill before the windy down hill to the jump before a right) where I know the car is all on the kerbs, but that looked good on the photos.

My apologies, I never saw that myself...

Edit: I looked over the replay and see that you have to actually snap the photo, not just use photo mode. Two things though, I never saw it myself and I have no reason to use that much curb there! I'm gutted, that was a lot of effort to do something so foolish... This has been an overall crappy day.

Try to use the track, and it won't happen again ;)

Why does Fetchy not pick up the red flags? Both JB and myself appear to be waiting for review in the results.

We (the admin staff) have to manually override red flags, as we always take the opportunity to review and confirm red flag incidents. We don't want an initial post by a member to result in a red flag being posted to the board. That's mainly down to the fact that there's a broad range of experience and understanding from the membership.

The red flags will show up on the board when we make the week final, at which point we'll make the overrides on the board.

Makes good sence. Thanks.

I've updated the Results leaderboard for this week, with the 2 DQ's and the Admin-approval of Twissy's turn 2. Thread will be archived in a bit.

Good show ol' chaps.

Re upload, deleted it by mistake

Turn 2 had a very close call with the side view mirror and the Tirewall, but it's clean 👍
Congrats on the win James
