Personally, I think the penalty for a single digit typo should be 0.040 which would conveniently put me on the podium by 0.002.

But in all serioiusness, we've ruled on these in the past and we've at minimum give out one time forgiveness for single digit typos. Here's proof:

The WRS Admin's (including Tim, despite the above) discussed submission typo's, and here is our official stance:

• Typo's will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the WRS Admins, with the first offense usually being excused.
• Black flags will result for frequent repeat offenses.
• Obvious/egregious typo's are thrown out as invalid by Vaxen while generating Results threads.
• If the typo-submitted time is faster than your real time, the Results thread will be corrected to the slower real time, and placements will be recalculated. No handicap recalculation will be done, unless the WRS Admins decide it's necessary.
• If the typo-submitted time is slower than your real time, the Results thread will NOT be corrected to the faster real time, and you are stuck with the placement you received.

Posted splits not matching doesn't result in a red flag. What matters is that the total lap time from the OP of this thread (1'31.190) matches the time shown on the best lap ghost replay (and obviously a clean run and matching specs, etc.).

It's accepted courtesy and fair play to post latest/best lap splits, but sometimes they don't match for various reasons. Maybe the lap was done at the last minute, etc.

Yes, last-minute for Mike's splits. Splits posted in the 15min before the deadline don't ever make it to the LB, for some reason. Mike's last-posted splits were:

38.909
20.420

I'll go update the LB manually.

Thanks for checking. That jump on that lap surprised me. I was expecting to spin after landing but I managed to transition it into a good corner.

Thanks for the props again guys - it felt good getting my second win.

No PAL replays at all checked so far... disappointing. Anyone can check replays you know, there are no chosen few and no special qualifications required. Its poor form to just take part and not give anything back and checking a replay doesn't take that long. If you've never done it before, well, get stuck in... we all know the rules and what's expected so there's no secret or mystery to it. How about adopting a general approach of checking a replay after you post your own? Just an idea... left like this, the results will never become official.
