Ron:
I looked at the replay again and this time saw where the tires were on the concrete. Also looked as if the front tire was lifting a bit.

Yes, he hit that curb going pretty fast and that will throw the tire into the air a bit.

When I look at a replay, any time I see something close like a tire on the curbing, that automatically puts me into investigate mode. I'll look at the same piece of replay 10 to 20 times, stopping at 5 or 6 different time points to ensure that lap is clean (or dirty).

Somtimes, it's not so obvious and you really have dig deep to find them.

Yep, lesson learned from this for me is if you had to check once, check twice more.

As CR said that section is pretty quick so it does go by fast when checking and trying to pause at a good moment. Give it due diligence, hopefully before you submit. :embarrassed:

Thanks for the check, both of you.

Not sure if that's a "lol, how did I miss that?", or a "lol, you have to be kidding me!"

A little of both but **** happens ....I guess, never put that much effort in so I'm not that bothered really. T3 and T4 where a mess

The only reason I'm on that bit track is becuase i knew that it was a fast lap and decided not to attempt turn 1 so didn't pull back over to the other side. Anyway sorry about submitting a dirty lap ......:ouch:

Congratulations to all winners. 👍

Sorry for being late, was on a buisness trip over the week.

Here´s my PAL replay.

I can completely understand that. When I first looked at the replay, I completely overlooked it thinking that it was still part of the red/white curbing. I was ready to give the green flag and had one more final check and that's when I noticed that it was concrete! I had to go back and check my replay and everyone elses that I looked at to make sure we didn't do the same thing.

I am sure no one thinks you purposely turned in a dirty lap, with the new rules, it was just one of those things.

yeah no worries atleast you only overlooked it once I completely overlooked it a few times . Anyway thanks for checking my replay :dopey:

My sincere apologies to Ron and the other drivers for not thoroughly checking my replay.
The lap was run at 15 minutes to the deadline and after the lap was finished I immediately saved the ghost replay, and checked the regular replay to see if the lap was clean.
Once the car cleared the final 3 corners without issue I literally jumped up and ran to my PC to submit the time. I never even considered the possibility of the final run off being dirty as I rarely ran wide there at all. I watched it again before the deadline to be 100% sure the I didn't miss any weird off anywhere, but again neglected to check the run off.

Ron actually checked my replay but was reluctant to post the red flag as it would move him to the Div 2 win so he alerted me and I wound up with the unenviable task of Dq'ing my own lap. 🤬

Congrats on the win Ron  and I'm sorry I took away that 'eureka' moment that everyone gets when they top their division.

Thanks Marc. Considering the circumstances, I think you had a great run none-the-less. A slight deviation to the right would not have caused a .043 delay, so I feel I lucked into the win on this one.

Tough to say.... .043 is such a small # that I do think it may have affected the lap enough had I adjusted the car to stay within the boundary. In fact, it happend to come up last time we ran TMR.
My banker lap was .206, so I had a good one to submit and that would have kept me on the podium, but It's not like I ever submit my second best lap ;)

The weird thing (for me) with respect to the boundaries is that we haven't run TMR in over a year and I didn't have to adjust to new boundaries much, I never really knew where they were anyway (when looking from the from the car's perspective)

That puts me in third position in D2. Here's my replay.

Yes it was, and it's a good clean run at that.

But this begs the question in my mind:

What if it turned out to be dirty? Because it wasn't required, would he get a pass, or because he submitted it, would he get a DQ?

DQ - everyone has to be clean, not just those asked for a replay. :sly:

I think Tim's unrequired replay for BEC@Suzuka, where the times didn't match, had set the precedent that any submitted replay, required or not, can be DQ'd for legality/sanity reasons.

So are you going to green flag it? Beyond that, the LB says we still need GTP_zapphoid's replay checked. Any PALs around?

EDIT: Actually it appears we are technically done. I missed this post by viper which unfortunately DQ'd zapphoid for hitting a wall.

Sorry Lucas, last time I checked, there was nothing next to his results. I guess by posting it, the system adds the requirement for checking. Here it is:
