A tenth and a half quicker at the line.

21.223
42.231

I really need to work on sector 2. I struggle to break the 21 barrier. :indiff:

rubbish T1 :grumpy: but a little better T2 :) much better at the line :sly: all be it lost it big time coming out of turn 5. :dopey:

T1: 0'21.451
T2: 0'42.558

Phillip.

Make sure you do your lap offline Dapper - I see one of your laps on the leaderboard that was done today.

How do you ensure you are offline-do you have to disconnect internet connection to PS3?

If so; that is a pain in the ass; besides I have yet to make (will never make?) the top 100 online :lol::lol:

Signing out from PSN is all you need to do..... or just follow Lins steps, show off :P

Fairly easy to do, just quickly press the PS button on a controller and move over to the Nework area, find the PSN sign-in option and press the Triangle on the controller. One of the choices should be Sign-Out - you can sign in and out while you are in the game. To be safe, always do this from the Main Menu of GT5:P - some folks have signed in while still at the Arcade event menu and the game will actually write-up your best lap at that very moment.

Thanks, sometimes I am a 49 year old luddite!

For those of us slower pokes maybe should re-name to 'cursing the Autobahn' :)

Thanks for all the tips! When I see some replays everyone is usually cutting corners to the edge. Couldn't really see how I could be faster in the second sector so I thought the trick was to cut corners.

But just practising seems to make me faster as well ;)

Second session:

T1: 21.403
T2: 42.734

"Account Management" is what you want to have highlighted when pressing Triangle; it takes the spot of "Sign In" anytime you are signed in.

If you are using a keyboard to navigate the menu in GT5P F1 works as triangle. Before you ask, Escape is Square and F2 is Circle. Enter is X.

lol @ "cursing the Autobahn"

:) 👍

I have just got into this after my 'heavy' weekend. I did have a go a couple of days ago but was woefully slow. I've never particularly enjoyed HSR, and on the reverse, the first corner is an absolute pain.

So, I've put some effort into the first corner and the times are now looking good,....

T1: 21.255
T2: 42.276

i edited earlier post - ignore this 1

No new times from me yet.

T1 goes up, T2 comes down.
T1 comes down T2 goes up.:grumpy:

But the mian things is T3 is coming down each time I try. 👍

Phillip.

Go fix that sig, buddy. ;)

It seems I have found about a quarter second in T3.

21.637
43.007

:ouch:

It seems I have found my limit; a dozen laps to whittle off less than .1 on the full lap and another dozen laps to no avail.

21.668
43.122

First splits:

21.497
42.653

First and second corners need work I'm afraid :nervous:

Lol very next lap:

21.363
42.478

Much better

Can't sleep at 4 am:

21.287
42.450

21.213
42.143

Good luck everyone.

Another day, big improvement :D

21.212
42.301

Woot!

21.316
42.274

Saw an amazing .046 T1 but I can't do it again, sheer luck (it was clean too) :(

Finally took Red Dead Redemption out of my machine and did this...
21.379
42.462
Now,back to my horse

Unless I can put all my best sectors into one lap before the end of the today, I will probably be submitting with these splits:

21.206
42.111

Average last sector.

I'm submitting with the following splits.

Slower T1, faster T2, slightly faster overall.

Can't wait to watch some of the faster replay's to see how I should be doing the s curve.

21.491
42.811

Very nice splits Aderrrn;) Looks promising for a podium for you, cheers mate.

Cheers Dan, and you. :P I think Ian could nick me at the line. We'll have to wait until Tuesday I guess. Submitted with current splits. Good luck to everyone still trying. 👍
