I believe that I go those lap splits... I'm not really sure. But I know that the Sector 1 was 28.6 seconds and that the Sector 2 was 46.2 seconds.
Did you read the OP? It gives you directions on what to do. You'll have to make a new post with the correct splits.

Invisible walls are also illegal, if I recall correctly London Reverse has a nasty one on the right at the exit of turn 1. If it makes a wall-hit noise but you still can't capture a pic of it touching a wall, you should still consider it dirty.
 
Volvodriver and nursemorph as mr_labrat says use the curbs at London, I religiously cut turns 1, 2 and 3 and the final turn using the curbs and skim as close as possible without contact and after a while it will become pretty natural you should find a good rhythm after a few attempts with faster exit speeds and the split times will be much better 👍 manual gears would definitely help for gearing up to 4th early for the left hand sweeper after T1 and a few other places too.. Thanks for taking the time to post this advice...unfortunately, I am already cutting the kerbs. I can't do manual shifting on tight city tracks as I don't have the concentration for it...tried it yesterday and the result was comical at best! I have just accepted that I am useless with this car on this track...everything I try to go faster results in a slower lap time or hitting the wall...thing is, I don't mind being slow if it's a combo that just doesn't suit me but to be slow without knowing specifically why is what is frustrating....I'll just have to wait until the week is over so I can download some laps and find out where I was going wrong

Just a thought, if you're slower when you try to be faster, why not to try to be slower, maybe you will be faster at the end. Try an easy pace, and slowly increase it and maybe it'll work ;)
 
I always start a TT one corner at a time. I'll see how fast I can take turn 1, then move on to turn 2 until I get to the end. I also do the events in kmh instead of mph since kmh is a more precise speed.

So, the corners are as follows,
102 kmh, 75 kmh, 70 kmh, 90 kmh, 101 kmh full throttle to t3..

Welcome to the series.

I'm going to assume you mean the 1/1000 s precision. Sometimes the replay just gives them (when you skip while paused), I don't think it's random - few things in GT are - but I don't know what. So if you persist, get them while you are driving, either from the lap itself or when you're on a new lap. On a different lap you need to calculate the split.
 
I can now confirm that miracles do, indeed, happen :lol: First lap I ran today improved my overall time by 3 tenths! I did go a tenth quicker several times but they were all run after a lap that had a minimal touch on the wall, meaning I lost all of them unfortunately...however, given I had pretty much given up, I don't mind too much. Thanks to @ItsAllAboutWins corner speed guide, I had something to aim at and it made me reassess how I approach the corners....turns out I needed to be releasing the brake earlier than I normally would. Should be able to achieve a .6 split (if not better) so definite improvement to be made but at least I can see how to improve now!

How do you get the exact splits from the ghost replay? (5/4 bb)


Save and watch your best lap replay.

Let it play for a few seconds and then pause it.

Fast forward to splits using the arrow >> symbol and you'll get your splits showing whilst its paused so you can take note of the exact splits.

Thanks @ItsAllAboutWins, that helped me work out it was pretty much all the first corner that was causing so much loss. Can still only make 100kmh maybe every 5-6th time without either cutting the apex too close or hitting the wall on the exit.

Welcome to the fun....you need to post your Sector 2 split time as well as you sector 1 time.

As Gravitron said, yes you can cut the kerbs....on city tracks like this one, generally, all surfaces are legal...as long as you don't touch the wall, it is fine
