Wow, I haven't been told that since I was like 10 years old by my Mom, lol. I was only trying to clear things up on why the results may have ended up the way they did. I know I'm new here so I'll just keep my mouth shut. Peace.
 Not my intention to patronize but this is a supportive community and I don't think anyone is going to be jealous of you pushing and improving... that was my point. :)

- Nice tidy lap Pekka. You backed off alot through the double left part of sector 3 (at the top of the hill) which is where you lost the most time I think. Good finish though. 👍

- Very clean, albeit cautious, lap. Alot of bravery was required to extract good pace from this car, mostly from trying to carry as much speed as you could through every corner, using trailing throttle to guide the rear. It can be a frustrating task to practice, requiring many spins, collisions, and restarts until you hit the sweet spot. 👍

Thanks for the verification and comments , Chris.
The rumbles were so much hit or miss that I didn't even try to use them in the last sector. :scared:

One more PAL replay checked:

- Even tidier than Chris's (Vagabond) lap. 👍

Al, don't know if you realized this already, but only Wes and Chris had a better T3 than yours!

My replay.

Can someone tell me if this upload worked. Having trouble doing this.

The 'strange' handicap was caused by the fact that D3-D4 in general (= not you in particular) was closer to D2 than D2 was to D1 as explained by me (and Chris' excellent graphs 👍).
You shouldn't take Chris so seriously here. He was merely trying to help you/trying to prevent you from quiting WRS over something that you haven't even caused yourself. Let me try something here.

Anyone who doesn't want GTP_CargoRat to participate in WRS, raise your hand.
When looking back in a few days you'll see that nobody actually did. And the ones that do, they don't know how much we need regular participants like you in the WRS right now.

Wes,
Thanks for taking the time to respond. I just didn't want to cause any hard feelings here by skewing any results here by me not taking part in any events lately. Plus, I know it probably looks like I sandbagged on my qualifier when that certainly wasn't the case. I put my heart and soul into each and every event that I enter, including that one. Like I said before, I constantly practice my hotlapping, sometimes for many, many hours at a time barring my body allows it, which could explain my improvement since my registration.
Anyhow, I just don't want to piss anyone off here by it looking like I was cheating in any way. If you and everyone else understands this and is ok with it, then we'll just move on from here. I'm enjoying the competition and look forward to improving and learning new things from the good people in this organisation. Appreciate the reply and your insight. Moving on.

I've updated the results to account for Racingworld's promotion.

GTP_RaceRyder was moved onto the podium, but no replay was required from the initial post. Thus a replay is requested, but not required.

Congratulations to all winners and podium finishers 👍 Al, what a stunning last sector you ran there, glad I motivated you :)

Altough I ran over 1000 laps on this track, I was just not able to catch my ghost in the end. Looking forward to this weeks battle, but will only be able to participate from Saturday on...

Same for the replay, will post it on saturday.

Congrats to all division winners and podium finishers. 👍 👍

nice 'n tidy lap. 👍

Joined the party a bit late , sorry for that.

Setup I used:

here's my (PAL) replay for verification: [038]

I'm interested in how you come up with your gearing technique. Why did you decide to move final to 4000 first?

You'll be fine, with work I'm only able to do TTs from Friday and Saturday, Sometimes I can do Sunday and Mondays but for this event I was so tired on both days that I wasnt concentrating enough to improve

- Fantastic Wes. 👍 Total commitment and bravery with the barriers. Doesn't get much better than that and I think the 0.0xx handicap is spot on.

Cheers Chris.:)

There was still half a tenth left in T1 and half a tenth left in T3 though. And 1.000 is supposed to be the best possible time for the combo. So we're actually faster than the best possible laptime.:P

This was a really fun week, the car was fantastic.

Looks like my sector 3 was pretty slow, I watched Chris' vid, looks like I slowed way too much at the left hander.

Nice job Christina and Matt, some very good times for not putting in a lot of laps on this tricky bugger.

My replay.

Is there a problem with my replay or is there just nobody checking them?

Al

I'll check it when I get home from work if no one has checked it by then

I was wondering the same thing. Also, I myself have no clue on how to check a replay or even if I'm qualified to do so.

Anyone can check replays, just download it open the zip and place the folder on your ps3 saves on your usb then copy it over to the ps.

Check here if theres still confusion.

For the replay itself, just check it against the events rules, look for out of bounds moments, wall contact, tyres, whether the person is using turbo, and whether someone used skid recovery force (not really sure how to tell if someone used it or not). Then if you are satisfied just give a green flag next to their corresponding times like others have done.

Ah, alright. Thanks my friend.

Here's my replay. Almost had an issue with the PS3 not recognizing the USB stick.
