After a quick 30min session I got in some quick laps. However my last corner was poo. ;)

Just doing a test here guy's the file is just a practise run.
Ive been worried about submitting replays.

Can anyone tell me if I have done it correctly, thanks.

Just tried a new line and gear through the second corner and wow it made a diference.
t1.30.124
t2. 51.246
and 7 tenths faster than my previous at the finish.
However it was more of a drift lap through the esses so I think cracking that may give me another 0.5 secs.

Spagetti, your file seems fine. I had to rename x.zip after extraction and do it again but that is not unusual. I could not view it though, are you using the pal dl version?

Another small improvement,

29.676
50.099

Got a much better laptime, but still losing too much ground through the esses.

Haven't had another go at this since the first day. Got a new job that's taking up 6 days a week, so there's very little time left for GTP. Hoping I can get some laps in tonight or tomorrow to improve the time!

Had another go this morning and I'm submitting with these splits:

29.656
49.803

Good luck guys.

Yea I am mate, thanks for trying.

Is it a problem having the downloaded version ?

It's not a problem, just that only others who also have the downloaded version can view your replays.

Can I only view others who have downloaded versions or can I view hard copies aswell?

When I post my replays I'll make a note that it's a dlc version.

Thanks guys.

you can only view replays from people playing the same version/versions you have, it would be a good idea to make a note that you are using dl when you post a replay 👍

By HSRII, I think you mean HSR Reverse? You realize this event is in forward, right?

I realized shortly after, luckily never ran on the wrong course. Still woefully off-pace though!

Submitted with these splits:

T1: 29.900
T2: 50.604

Terrible T2 but couldn't combine a faster T1 than previous splits, with a good T2. At least T3 is a bit faster (like 0,05x or something).

Submitted my tortoise times.

T1 30.105
T2 51.051

Just getting to grips with the game itself lol.

Submitted with splits on the board didnt have and dont have anymore time to improve. Was in Belgium yesterday for Tomorrowland :D.

Not doing myself any favours on this one. I get frustrated after about 3 laps then put something else on  Seen a few 29 T1s but couldn't capitalise. Just not getting enough runs to be consistent. Oh well, quite possibly submitting with these:

T1: 30.016
T2: 50.587

Let's hope this problem will be gone once our long awaited full version GT5 game arrives ...

This is also to announce that I'm back after two lovely weeks in France with some of my best friends.

Will give this HSR challenge a go in a while to get back on the board after quite a while which does not fit my reputation at all! :)

Welcome home :tup:embarrassed:r bienvenue à la maison :D

Cheers for sorting the picture out, and speaking of GT5, do you think the board will change at all? I guess even with all the new features the WRS formula will remain the same. You'll just need LOTS more car pics

By the way guys, where are these invisible walls? Would i notice hitting one? And if not, they arent walls ... are they?

The invisible walls are mainly at the first and last turn, a 'wall' in front of the actual barrier that you can hit without hitting the actual barrier itself. The easiest ways to see that you have hit it are:

1. You see the deflection of your car as it hits the invisible wall.
2. You see a 'blip' on your speedometer as you hit the wall.

If you watch the top 2 replays on the online leaderboard, you'll see them both hit it on the last turn.
The point is, just because your laptime did not turn red, does not mean that it is a clean lap. It's quite difficult to judge but a few WRS participants have been disqualified for hitting it in the past.

Thanks for the reply 👍 It makes sense now.

I thought invisible was a strange word though, it is obvious if you hit one. I didnt even realise there were walls in the game that you could hit and not get a red lap for. I guess thats why the rules stipulate the none hitting of them. At least I know now. Thankyou

Excuse alert!!
Improved my times by about 1 tenth, however still pretty much last. I really don't like this combo. Just to slidy for me and I can't control drifts with my wheel, I just spin out. Bring on another eiger time trial soon. (please) ;)

Welcome back Steven, hope you had a good time in France

Minor improvements, but still haven't reached my goal and runnin' out of time!

T1: 29.700
T2: 50.182

Different line through last section gave me a bit of time, but hope to improve still.
