Great split man
Thanks, had a .4 flat but couldn't pull the rabbit out of the hat.

No idea how to get to low .4s though...
Edit: BB all to the front as well
I tried some of that on Sunday when I ran, but could never make it faster. Seems to help turn in under braking, but could not get used to how tight it made the car feel everywhere.

I also felt like BB in general was not making a big difference in total, small adjustments did very little.

You using full forward for the braking distance benefit, or is it a handling thing?

Every time I've dragged my rig into place this week and started a few laps, I get pulled in another direction by the wife. Go do this, go out and get this...wtf. Doesn't she know I'm trying to get a good lap in?

Luckily she's going to the cottage this weekend with the kids and I'm stuck at home working all weekend

I just get tied up in knots messing with brake balance so tend to race the guts out of it with neutral first, I did try a bit of +5 seemed to help with turn one but hindered me on the rest of the lap, may give it a go adjusting on the fly later.....or more likely will stick to 0

Iv'e noticed BB + makes the car very unstable under brakes into the hairpin.
Very little is relative, I just mean that you bascially have to go to +5 or -5 to really feel what it's doing. Fine adjustments like -1 or +1 do almost nothing at all.

In general, the +BB does make the car looser, which I find useful in the second sector. I think the -BB is good in S1.

@EDK yes, I was wringing the nuts off it until I noticed how the speedo was slowing down :dunce:

Havent worked out yet if that works for the run to the line as well or whether its faster to hold it in gear till you get there, the time lost with gear change versus the drop off in acceleration

I think if you are on a hot lap, wind it out. But it's going to lose you time on the next lap.

Sorry for the confusion. BB +5 it was - slightly to the rear...:dunce:
Shifting points here are: 2nd to 3rd close to 100km/h (62mp/h) - and yes, wind out 2nd gear until you're on a(n) (almost) straight line. 3rd to 4th at 146/147km/h (91mp/h) - when entering sector2 right where you're the most out of steering to the left.

Nice, was shifting later than that.

That's about what I had settled on. Think I was at 63/92 MPH. So will try 1 MPH sooner. ;)
