im 2 sec. off pace could use a couple extra horses for Daytona and La Sarthe getting killed on the straights and other cars are just as fast everywhere else it's going to be a bad weekend for the fords. i will need every one to crash going into T1 just to finish on the podium

blaze ford got a 35.9

Going WAY too fast through the bus stop (on the limits of legality, probably not legal) can run a low 36... The viper isn't as stuck to the ground through the bus stop as others.. Through the infield I can run with the leaders (.0x off or even .1 up going onto the straight out of the infield).

1:38.0 lool for Nissan is not good too, lost 2 sec from the oval track :scared:

Yea pipi, you're SOL with that car on the long tracks like here, sarthe, monza, and fuji. I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors :D

I'm not sure about thats tracks, in Spa two great straights and i have make good times, one isolated case i hope

Both GTRs are slow in the straight. I set my times alone so with company I'm sure I'll go faster. The Fords hit 310kmh, the Vette does almost 330kmh! This is with full downforce, the draft will cure the drag I'm hoping.

Fuji can be decieving on this game, despite having that long long straight it tends to reward a better handling car...

As long as you can take the carousel without braking, you'll be good at that track. The last section is all about the late apex,so its pretty good for all cars.

fuji's a nice track imo

can Lemans be a walkover for the vette's engine restores are not cheap lol.

Drivers briefing race #4 Daytona road Course.

-Free practice, track will open at 6:30PM EST(GTM-4) for free practice.

-Qualifying, at 7:30 everyone must be on the lobby and ready to start the legality verification process. Any driver that leaves the track and goes to the settings menu may recieve a time penalty aded to the final results.

-The cars will be called on track using their respective power/weight figures.

-The pole sitter will lead the field at 60mph arround the track. Please give each other plenty of space here.
Once the polesitter reaches the pit entry the grid will slow down to 30mph. Guys do not be afraid to come up side to side in your respective spots. Remember we start double file.
The pole sitter will be cleared to accelerate away at the start/finish line. The pole siter has to cross the line in first place. Any overtaking before the leader crosses the line will be rewarded with a time penalty of 50 seconds.

-Turn 1, everyone is expected to use fair judegement here. No is ever won in the first turn, but all of them can be lost here.

-Again I expect everyone to give plenty of room to each other on the pace lap.

-Any on track incidents will be dealt with after the race and the text chat is not to be used during the race.

-If by any reason you need to quit the race please pull over to the side and out of the racing line before doing so.

-If your car sustains heavy engine or suspension damage and you are unable to mantain pace or mantain the car under control you are expected to move over and not keep racing for possition.

-Any contact resulting in damage at the start, before the start or during the race will be investigated by the stewards and face possible penalties.

-Any on track incident needs to be reported to the race stewards within 24 hours of the race start.

-In any case resulting on penaties, infractions, warnings or probations it will be announced on the 2nd post under the "important announcements" section.

Well, if what Veloci had said is true, then i'm looking at mid 35's on race day. Enough to beat the Fords, but is it enough to beat the rest and challenge for a win? Not a clue, but i'm optimistic for this one. This is a track i've had several laps of practice on, and I am, compared to other drivers, fast at this track. If there's anywhere I could do it, it's here, or Monaco.

That's all if and only if I do make this race, as I do have exams that start on Monday and go until the 15th, so as much as i'd love to make it, it's not looking so good.

This is when you take that 2 hr break from studying to let your mind rest and have fun. Then you go back to studying.

Maybe you should make a note about pit procedure, i.e. staying to the left of the wall and presenting a penalty if this rule is not followed.

This rule isnt be followed in the slightest way.. We were doing 40 a suzuka on the pit straight. and i think certain pole sitters are being obnoxious about the way they are getting the field going....I'd like to see this cleaned up.

I got rear ended on my start at Suzuka(luckily no damage) because the guys in front where messing around so i had to slow and then its basically just a train wreck when the person behind you doesnt realize you have slowed.

i think you should watch the replay again second place tried to go early and that was the reason for the back up. the field was slowed at pit lane, i should know i was pacing the field.

In addition you started the race on the wrong side of the grid.

And how come my replay showed me going into the grass at the spoon curve on the pace lap? i dont remember that at all.

Is it feasible to have the perfect race here? The bus stop is difficult. Is it really likely that everyone will make it through there without wiping out for 38 laps....hahaha this race is going to be interesting to say the least.

believe me i wanted the inside but Jav stated you start on the side given by computer:tdown: i think the pole setter should have choice of position:tup:

after resetting my account again and having to break in another new car, this is getting out of hand i am going to sue Wal Mart for selling me a bootleg copy of GT5....j/k but i now hate Wally world. gamestop only from now on.

if some spot is available can I enter in div 1?
I dont have probleme with div 2 but we are few racers and I like to run with a complete grid

There are more drivers coming in every week to Div2, hopefully we can get all Div2 drivers together on a regular basis and have a decent size grid.

i just would like to welcome the ford's into the 34's
major adjustments allowed the car run the times i expect from the ford and a half full tank helped also
