Excuse my ignorance before I sign up, but are the SRF and MX-5's equal in lap time and therefore racing directly against each other, or in separate classes?

Not ignorant, the two cars are in their own class, so there will be a separate championship for each car.

Nah, not really. I'm heading to the 24 Hours, plus I work a lot of weekends, and try to get to race or hit a track day here and there, so asking to hop on the rig when I am home and the little man is awake is sacrilegious.

The only time I've ever asked is for Round 3 of GT Academy 2011. Thankfully she said yes.

PS: Daddy/Husband. Of. The. Year. (That's what I tell her at least)

Sorry, I was really keen and voted on the tracks, but then I saw the time the races are so I won't be able to make it. 4am Sunday doesn't suit me well Oh well, that's the way it is I guess. Hope to get to race with some of you guys soon though!

I tried my best to get back into the MX5 as the SRF is not for me, but it's so dull I can't get to enjoy it. Way to easy to drive, I can drive it with one hand and still do good (not great) lap times and by lap 3-5 I will be in a wall because I fell asleep. I even made a paint job for it when I saw this thread, but a nice paint didn't speed up the feeling of the car

Good luck with the league, but I really was hoping for something more thrilling than the rookie cars.

And it's "One Fast Tow" and not "One Fast Toe" Well if you don't mean something totally else, but I never heard of that before.. Would suit me better than others, as I only have one foot, but I still have 5 toes
