A: That's not what you sent
B: Even if you had, I'm still not interested in a 2 time knee surgery RB, on a bad offense, with a horrible QB, and no WRs, in the toughest run division in the league, for a Goal Line beast on one of the highest scoring offenses in the league.

It's what is there now. There goes your chance to sell high on Ridley.

Still laughing about Megatron/Blackmon. It's fantasy football, not lunacy football.

Since when does Sell high, mean downgrading to a rookie RB in the situation I already described?

I'm offering you a RB who will receive the bulk of the carries for a fumble-prone running back with one good game to his credit who will have to split carries on a pass-first team. Bad team, tough division, etc. don't really matter because it's not like he'd be your #1 RB anyways. MJD is on a bad offense and still beasts week-in and week-out.

It's okay though. I'll go ahead and cancel the trade so you can go back to lunacy football.

Spacegoat.

For Gabbert:

Dalton and Jennings.

I'll respectfully decline, I don't need another RB at the moment.

Thanks for the offer anyways. 👍

I'd keep Dalton anyway if I were you, if Vick gets injured you're going to need a good backup and he's a lot better than Kolb, if you ask me.

Big match-up this weekend. We both need this win bad.

I'm just praying St.Louis Rams Defense crushes RG3's pocket every bloody play.

Indeed, Fred Jackson's injury cost me the win against Villain last week.

Best of luck. :mischievous:👍

Fixed. :sly:

Dalton and Jennings have got to go.

If my Michael Vick gets injured, my god am I stuffed.

I'll then have to pick Kolb from waivers. :ill:

I'll give you Luck or Wilson for Alshon Jeffrey or Nate Washington, respectively.

In all the years we have done this league, never have we had this much trade action!

This team was rough when I got it, needs work!
Blackmon as my 1st round pick, I'm just trying to dig myself out of a hole. Had to pull Rod Streater out of my :ouch: to pull the win off last night!

I don't remember trades being available...

Also, I know it's Cowboys965'2 perogative to lose and I know this is a for-free-and-fun-only type of a league, but can we not have someone take up a league spot by hoarding a single teams' players next season?

In case it has gone unnoticed, he's got almost 100% Dallas players and offered me a laughable trade for Ogletree (basically a collection of his non-Dallas pieces) - because Ogletree is a member of the Dallas Cowboys. He's going to finish dead last and every week it'll just be a more-or-less forfeit.

Its not like someone here didn't try to do the same thing a few years back with the Dolphins.

Well I like the Cowboys, so why have to root for anyone else? :dopey:

Well like I said, it's your prerogative to not try to win in the league, but it just begs the question, why play fantasy football?

The whole idea behind fantasy football is to mix-and-match a make a "fantasy" team up from players who aren't on the same team. I just think that a fan who only wants to root for one team is more likely to enjoy the pick'em league that I just started than this fantasy football league. You can pick Dallas every week even if it's a game they're expected to lose, while still being objective with your other picks and giving youreslf a chance to still win the league.

Your fantasy team has little-to-nothing as far as chances to be competitive (especially in a BYE week), so I don't see this can be fun for you beyond just being a member of the group. Also, if there are other people on GTP who'd like to be part of the league and they intend to play the way fantasy football was intended, I'd prefer they get that last spot next time around.

The homer kool-aid only lasts one season. Especially when it's aqua-flavored.

That's because I got stuck with a ton of QBs after drafting Luck way too early. My draft strat would've worked if I had the back-to-back picks, but I was early in the order. I need WRs bad.

I agree. If you're not going to take it seriously, you're just ruining for 15 others.
An all Dallas could and would work well if you successfully pulled it off, but you didn't.
Romo
Murray
Dez
Austin
Witten
Ogletree
Dal Def
Bailey
Would be a competitive team week in and week out. And despite what some people may think, a 'single team bye week' is actually a decent strategy. (Theory being your team is full strength 15 weeks, and you willingly sacrifice 1 week.)

The league is for fun. The solo team team is good comic relief.

Let them have at it and just have fun. That's why there are trash talk bits to Yahoo! and it's own message board. I mean come on, we all get a chance to voice how much we think the Cowboys suck. That is always good times.

I'll give you Luck or Wilson for Alshon Jeffrey or Nate Washington, respectively.

Ooh tempting but I'm more or less content with my WRs and I couldn't part with them just yet especially as I'm predicting a couple of injuries to come my way soon. Thanks anyway.

I don't remember any trades being made at all last year. Actually, last year's thread only had a total of #56 responses.

It would never work. I think you are missing some critical points. Every touchdown scored by a running back means the wide receiver on that same team did not.

So unless Dallas plans to score 50 or more points every week, It ain't gonna work. Cowboy fan is a different breed anyway, they are "America's Team" afterall. 👎

JFM92, for LeGarrette Blount and Kevin Boss, Rashad Jennings, Brandon LaFell and Clay Harbor?
