GTPlanet Club Rally Championship - Season 5

Welcome to Season 5 of the GTPlanet WRC Club Rally Championship.
This season we will be introducing some of the new cars and stages from the recent updates, and exciting, brand new class, making its GTP Club debut:

WRC 2012-2016

That means 2 brand new cars to get to grips with, and an updated base game machine.

2013 Volkswagen Polo R WRC
2012 Citroen DS3 WRC
2012 MINI John Cooper Works WRC**

This season will be run over 5 weeks, with 5 rounds, comprising 5 stages per round:

Round 1:
FORUM8 Rally Japan

Round 2:
Rally Estonia

Round 3:
Guanajuato Rally Mexico

Round 4:
Rallye Monte-Carlo*

Round 5:
Vodafone Rally de Portugal*

The season will start on Wednesday the 20th of February at 2pm GMT.

I'm going to rep the MINI this season, I love the Citroen but I feel like I have driven it to death and the Polo is just a touch too twitchy for me.

Recently downloaded WRC, so I'll give this a bash. Probably leaning towards the Polo, the R5 was always a favourite of mine on DR2.

Absolutely!

I'm in. Tempted to drive the DS3, but it seems so slow compared to the Polo at least. And it rolls over easily

Decent run, the Mini actually feels pretty good on tarmac, just a couple of self inflicted errors cost me some time.

Terrible, just Terrible. Haha, hopefully get a good run on the power stage. Not done much Japan to be fair

I was pretty happy with my performance until stage 4 where I veered off the road and got stuck. Had to reset to get back on the road. Then, towards the end of the stage I went wide, but this time I was able to continue without resetting. Stages 3&4 are probably my favorite stages in the game so I was pretty mad at myself lol

I also hit the end of a guardrail head-on stage 1 but that one didn't bother me too much
