I'm almost positive that the site shows that, unfortunately I didn't grab said info when I was getting it all together and despite having the access code, it says it's invalid so I can't go back and get it, either.

It should say at the end of each night. Number of deaths = number of cannon shots + memorial for fallen.

Anyone not on it can assume they are alive for now.
