I rarely buy diecast, but this beauty sat at my work for YEARS! I sold it to myself at cost. :P

GMP 1/18 1993 Steeda Mustang Cobra R

Mustang below it is also mine(AutoArt). I keep them in the display at work. :D
Won for $7 each. Didn't know they were 1:43, but oh well.
Thanks for keeping the junk out of the hot wheels thread. j/k

:P

Some of my old 1:35 models, assembled and painted by me.
You gotta talent! 👍 Beautiful collection.

Thanks :) This is just a small part of my 1:35 military collection.
I'll be working on some 1:72 kits soon - a Yak-3 fighter and a Soviet 85mm anti-aircraft gun (52-K) with crew.
There's also a 1:35 PzKpfw II Luchs tank in the process, but it's frozen - I ran out of the "German Olive Yellow" (Dunkelgelb) paint. Will continue when I get more.

Have you done any diorama set? Dioramas are cool in general, but WWII at least to me has little bit more dramatic feel to it. I used to enjoy Tamiya kit, but as a dumb kid. I never even painted them, as my dad wasn't into the hobby at all & I had nobody to teach me.

Tell me you just randomly smashed up the keys when you typed this.

so where does one get Senna models at a reasonable price. They seem to be pretty rare. I usually hunt on ebay for some kind of used models but Senna cars, and even more in particular Marlboro mclaren of any kind seem to be rarer then the rest.

I had plans about dioramas, but not yet. They require special skills, I should learn to make the models better first. :)
I need to get some advanced equipment, e.g. airbrush, that will raise my level of modelling seriously. And only when I learn painting the models on advanced level, I'll try making a diorama. Because if you want to make a diorama but have no proper skills and/or equipment, you better not even try. It's not as easy as it may look sometimes.

Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. L "Luchs", what's wrong?

We acquire these skills by practicing, practicing, practicing with what we have available and as we increase these skills so do we improve the tools used. Just wondering if you're waiting on a magic pil :D

I mean, you should first learn to make models nicely, then - only start practicing with diorama setting. :)

Are you searching specific models, scales and brands Or just "Senna f1 car"?

Good pointer by AMG, but I get what you mean. By looking at your models, I do see the "perfectionist" in you. :D Good luck with it, bud! 👍

It was a joke!

Details! Details!

I was just scrolling through 1:43 Porsche models when this one came by. I googled it and didn't really see much coming up and the few that came up where sold out or tba. Got the model and it's pretty nice! Not sure if I should crack the seal on the case so I can make some photos...

Wish it was 1:18 Bram!

Its been a good bit since I posted here. I'm in the market for some more cars, something motorsports related, and in 1:24 scale. I'm thinking NASCAR or drag racing, but whatever I can find for under $50 USD. Most of what I'm finding now is NASCAR, but I'd kinda like to step outside the box and get some kind of open wheel racer or pro drag racer diecast. I can't buy online, but anyone out there have any suggestions? :)

If you are into building some things yourself you could check for some kits from Tamiya, Revell etc. They have many things in the 1:24 scale. A lot of brands do things in 1:24 actually but many of them I can't name out of my head. You could check eBay and see what is out there.

I do actually build models, but I want diecast since I have four cars I'm working on currently. I checked eBay and found even more NASCAR. I'm not even sure what I'd get when I come across something I like, because things I like come in bundles. Thanks for your help. :)
