The rear view with a standard XK8 for a comparison.

All in all a very cool Bond model

Newest addition to the collection:

Autoart Lancia Delta S4.

I've also been thinking of a way to display the models and put down some drawings:

The display is composed of 3 identical smaller cases and one placed right in the corner. It would be 5mm aluminium and 5mm acrylic sheets on the sides ( bottom right and inspired by an adjustable wing mount) and top ( bottom left and made to look like a crossmember), something stronger on the bottom and back so that it can be attached to the wall. The front and top could be removed together to place the models inside. The positions can be rotated and are inspired by the displays at the MEF in Modena:

I regret not getting the Beanstalk 007 1/18's way back then, as I always thought they looked to have nice quality for the price...
Anyway I got this behemoth in the mail today:

They re fantastic quality models although the "Bond tax" is quite high. It took me an absolute age to get all three at a price I was happy with. The Thunderbird is really heavy considering it has no gadgets at all and has a really nice finish to it. Well worth tracking down if they still interest you.

I might if prices ain't too absurd for them. Not all that priority though when it comes to models though lol
Anyway here are some more pics I took at the same overlook as before, but the day after the first batch:

(Re-did the 1/18 vs 1/1 pic since it came out blurry in my previous post)

So Ottomobile sent out an apology email to all their customers for breaking their website. We know 1:12 isn't a very popular scale, and as such any maker wouldn't in their right mind want to produce too many of these at the risk of carrying goods not enough people want. They recently announced the R5 Maxi Turbo for preorders, planned to produce 1000, and received over 3000 preorders to the point the website started to struggle with the load of traffic.

As such they've extended the preorder window to May 10th.

Hello,
Nice photos :)
I have the exact same Cayman GT4 in that color - with a very small nick on the rear bumper though :(
I love the RE Amemiya RX-7! it looks great, may I ask which model brand is that from? I'd love to get one for my collection, too.
Cheers :)

Yeah, what @AOS- said. Ignition Model makes some really nice resin JDM tuners, along with some stock JDM and a little bit of classic Euro stuff, though mostly Porsches. Also they are about impossible to find 2nd hand or after the initial sales period, and if you do they are pretty damn expensive lol...
Anyway got a bunch of cheapo Spark 1/43 diecasts and a 1/18 CMR resin Porsche 917LH:

Found an old photo which I previously shared in another thread. Had to store them in the box for quite a while as I've run out of display space.

A few days ago, I had another exposure to an NA1 NSX, and have partial regret letting go of the one I had for less than I could've sold it for. Since then I was interested to know what NSX prices were like for AutoART and what not. They go for good money now that very few people are selling them now. It would seem most have found permanent homes.

I have the yellow TAKATA NSX livery and was close to selling that off to reduce my inventory, but I may not now.

Oh, that yellow TAKATA NSX is definitely worth big bucks out there!

From what I know, the famous models that are highly sought are the Evo IV, Evo VI Tommi Makinen, WRX STi type-RA, 22B, NSX, GT-R series. Even if they're no longer produced in stock or racing liveries they still yield increasing resale prices.

I was glad to be able to secure the green NSX, the original owner was clearing up his space in his new home, and was urgently seeking a new buyer. He was willing to let it go at a lower price than the quoted since he's genuinely seeking a proper buyer and not a jack-up reseller.

One of my regrets was probably not buying the Gran Turismo 5 series by AutoART back then...

You can still find the AUTOart Impreza 22B for not too absurd prices, since they did a re-release of it a few years ago. The normal R34 GT-R is also getting a redesign, which in pics seems to have corrected some of the flaws the original release had. An NA2 NSX-R is also coming from them as well.

I can't believe @MSZ didn't share this yet.

Found these new announcement from Ignition:

May not be most of our cups of tea, but still, wild!

Thank you for the link!

I don't buy many scale models but that's a very impressive looking Supra and will join what I hope to share pics of soon
as I currently have the 1/18 scale model of Good Smile Racing's Miku livery Mercedes Benz AMG GT S from the Spa race last year awaiting release from customs which is the first 1/18 scale I've bought in a while so I guess this one will join it in the display later when it's out.

When was the last time did you see me sharing anything at all? I have been in overdrive mode ever since the beginning of the virus outbreak. My workplace has got rid of most of the staff and my workload has been basically doubled. Plus two kids at home with no school time really took away all of my free time as well.

This Supra does look very wild indeed.

The silver one is 1/18, the red one I used to think was 1/8 but seeing them side by side I'm less sure now. Lockdown has meant me getting the old hobbies out. It's not run for at least 5 years so is needing some TLC.
