Got the Ford Mustang from Bullitt and the Bburago Mercedes Benz 300 SLR that Stirling Moss raced in the Mille Miglia. I'll take some photos of all my cars when I can use the digital camera my mum got today.

And now for the question part...

Any of you guys know if there's a 1:18 Audi TT DTM? I've got the Astra and the CLK's (both the '01 and '02 versions), all i need to have them all is a TT. I know Minichamps makes it in 1:43, but i'm not interested in them anymore.

I wish i lived in Germany...

I think i'll check around a bit, and make the full list of cars i have in here...

Hey, thanks for starting this area of discussion. I not only have started to collect 1:18 scale, but I have three I have started to customize. I'm an 'Ole School' rodder so my collection will probably be quite different than yours, but we do have 1:18 scale in common. Your collection looks really great, and my favorite is the Mustang. Keep up the space for awhile and let's just see how big this can get. Also, I would like to hear from and answer other customizers so maybe we could help each other out with parts, supplies, tips, etc. Check with ya' latter.

The attached photo is a Bburago '54 Gullwing, which I have scheduled to become something between a 'Funny Car' & 'Pro Street'. I'm still working out the details, "Hemi" powered of course.

Rich...........

By the way, if you can find a red one by Burago, you'd be a rich man. They only made like 52 of them and they are worth $1,000's. Just thought I'd tell ya.

I know this is kinda off topic but does anyone know where I could buy some model cars? The ones you have to put together with glue and paint them?

i got a little catalogue in with it and id definately reccomend the 22b, esprit turbo/essex turbo, 911 gt3r, and pretty much all the race cars! :D

Here is my brand new Viper SRT-10 I got for Christmas, I'll take more pics later as my Digital Camera is low on batteries.

id recommend u get a battery charger if u havent already got one and 4 duracell rechargeable batteries so while 2 are charging u can be using the other 2, and then when those run out just switch them! but that is if u havent already figured that the cost of keep buying batteries will be more than the camera is worth before long!

Does anyone have a good source for 1:18 scale aftermarket parts?

Intercoolers, wheels, turbo's, etc..

Edit: I'm going to build my own. :)

This is a 1/18 Auto Art Nissan Skyline that I'm building to look like the MCR GT-R.

If things go well with the build/molding of bodywork, I'm going to attempt the Top Secret R34.

gutsy but I applaud your ambition, I tried to do a little modifing of these cars before. They were cheaper models and it was mainly just lowering it and changing the rims though. Good luck, it should be fun.

Nick:rolleyes:

It just came in today, my first 1:18 model car.

AutoArt Gran Turismo Nissan Skyline GT-R R34.
