I
Please tell me if the company making the models below are'nt good quality, thanks.
Exoto and CMC make great models. :P

I'm really annoyed becuase I could'nt find the Bently Speed 8 on antics in 1:18, if any can it's greatly appriciated, thanks.
AutoART make a Bentley Speed 8, but it's sealed.

Ouch..

Finally some pics of the only 2 models we have: Williams FW26 "Tusk nose" of Ralph Schumacher and the Renault R25 of Giancarlo Fisichella.

These 2 are thumbnails the rest aren't.

Here we go...

Manufacturers;

Revell: I have just 1 (69 corvette stingray, see gallery in sig), fairly decent interior, exterior, well proportioned, good for the money, sealed boot, but opening doors and bonnet, some models have wheel problems (glue or something i'll try get a pic tomorrow of some i know of).

Maisto: Good value for money, good proportions, newer models are getting better and better, they mass produce a hell of a lot of models, worth checking out thier range, havent had many problems with maisto :)

Bburago: Now bankrupt and are owned by maisto, but will continue to create new models under the same name as a seperate division. Slightly less detailed than maisto, but good still pretty good for the money. Older models lacking in detail.

Ricko: Ive seen a few and tempted to buy, but they just dont make the models i want! Not bad in terms of detail about on par with Bburago or inbetween that and Maisto. Havent seen many of these about.

Other manufacturers who make models at about this level include Ertl and Yat ming, with UT being the best of that bunch and at the bottom of the pile welly and motormax. Retailing at between £10 and £30 respectively ( prepare to pay a lot more for certain UT models, thier bankrupcy in 2001 means some go for big £££.)

Stepping up a level there is autoArt, Minichamps, Biante, Highway 61 and ertls Authentics range. Generally coming in at around £30-£60

And if you really wanna go full hog you could always pay an arm and a leg for such models as CMC, Exoto, GMP, Lane and BBR. Lane and GMP being the cheapest of these at around £50-£100, Exoto at about £100-any price you can think of, and CMC and BBR at around £130-£300.

Thats about as much manufacturer info as you'll need :)
In my opinion the best ones are UT, Highway 61 and GMP in terms of value for money.

Ok stop me now, sorry for the essay...

Just be careful with Linpin if you buy from them bondy. I bought the 03 Bathurst 427 Monaro winner from them, and the damn thing arrived with a loose spoiler. Which reminds me, I need to glue that sonofa... one day.

and i got my fpv from them and it was fine :P

Would that be the FPV with AIR BUBBLES and BLACK SPOTS on the paintwork?

I'll tak that into account jef, though you cant blame the black spots and air bubbles on Linpin, you can however blame them on CC :P

their E49 Charger is making me drool right now but im gonna resist, i told u guys i need to stop buying diecast for a while and start saving.
So stop trying to get me to buy things please!!
ive got 2 models which are going to arrive within about 2 hours and another 2 on the way, and one that i just cant resist, but im not paying more than £50 for it!
