So we had our second driver take on the Top Gear Test Track! @The Stig Farmer! He looked smooth in his practice runs and then posted a 1:42.523 on his flying lap. Afterwards, we caught up with him with a few questions:

Interview:

How long have you been on GTPlanet?

November 2012 so about two and a half years.

Have you taken part in any races recently, if so, which ones?

I'm not a massive racing nut, but recently I've been in a Lexus in the FRL V8 Supercars which is going... interestingly  I reckon I'll actually get a decent overall points position by turning up to and finishing all the races. It's a real battle with the car before you even think about tearing it up with 15 others not to mention the number of street circuits we race on. Walls are much closer in a big old four door.

What cars have you owned in real life? If none, what car do you wish to own?

Don't own any cars yet - still a learner - but if I had free pick of any car it'd probably be a second-gen Charger of some vintage. Preferably the '68 with the round taillights? Everyone seems to forget that one.

One of my definitely-want-to-achieve life goals is to build a crazy Land Rover rat rod. Slammed, chopped, generally messy and ugly... I like to annoy people and Land Rover fans are as easy to piss off as any

How did you enjoy your session in the Reasonably Priced car?

The whole experience was fun and the track is great. But I only learned it was a CVT when I actually got out on track! Whole lap with the needle at 6000 isn't that nice. And because you only have one gear/infinite gears whatever... you have to forget how to drive with a normal gearbox. You're entering corners based on road speed which feels alien; you can't just stick it in second and chuck it in.

Thanks for having me!

Thank you for your time @The Stig Farmer!

Lobby open! Everyone please join the lobby.

Everyone can go all at one time in practice, but your timed laps will be done one at a time. Good luck to all!

So we had our third driver take on the Top Gear Test Track! @legacyMACHINE ! He looked fast in his practice runs and then posted a 1:44.187 on his flying lap. Afterwards, we caught up with him with a few questions:

Since May 21, 2013.

Have you taken part in any races recently, if so, which ones?

You know those free run lobbies where the host starts the race? That's about it. I'm not too big on online racing with GT6.

What cars have you owned in real life? If none, what car do you wish to own?

None yet. But hopefully when I pass my test there will be a Porsche 917 Le Mans racer waiting... or at least a nice Ford fiesta.

How did you enjoy your session in the Reasonably Priced car?

It was fun (so thanks for that), but frustrating. I had a decent (if scrappy) rhythm going on in the practise, but lost it in the actual lap. I've also learned CVT cars are going to be avoided in GT, it's just alien 👎

Thank you for your time @legacyMACHINE!

UPDATE:

Links to the interviews have been posted in the OP to prevent unnecessary scrolling around. Hope it works for everyone!

So we had our fourth driver take on the Top Gear Test Track! @sparkytooth! He looked fast in his practice runs and then posted a 1:41.327 on his flying lap. Afterwards, we caught up with him with a few questions:

I've been on GTPlanet for three years now. Very lovely place to spend my internet time on.

Have you taken part in any races recently, if so, which ones?

Recently, none. Last I properly raced was before GT6 1.06 (Ages ago). Although I used to be a very active racer on GT5, I immediately signed up for a series when I first got my PS3 and GT5, I even have a championship to my name but that's a ways off from where I am now. I've sharpened my skills from GT5 and now I think of myself as a quite decent driver.

What cars have you owned in real life? If none, what car do you wish to own?

As far as machines are concerned, I have none yet.

I pride myself on my enjoyment of all types of machines, big or small, powerful or not so powerful, they all appeal to me in some manner. This is due in part to the teachings of the Gran Turismo games. I show a particular bias towards Toyota, BMW and Pagani.

As for machines I want to own, I immensely desire a Lexus LFA, which is my personal favorite amongst favorites, and I obviously can't forget the Toyota 2000GT and countless more machines like the Huayra, 340 Cuda and 288 GTO.

How did you enjoy your session in the Reasonably Priced car?

Ever since I have GT6 I've never gotten around to putting the newest in-game Vitz through it's paces, for a machine that doesn't even break the 100hp barrier it's very fun to push it all the way you can. Streets of Willow Springs is a track I've always enjoyed since I got the game and I feel that you guys have struck a great combo with this Toyota and this track. One of my favorite sectors of Willow Streets is the final chicane where I had fun challenging myself to snap the little Toyota from side to side as perfectly as I could.

Thanks to @sparkytooth for his time!

So we had our fifth driver take on the Top Gear Test Track! @JakeKing39! He looked fast in his practice runs and then posted a 1:40.063 on his flying lap being the fastest guest we ever had. Afterwards, we caught up with him with a few questions:

Interview:

How long have you been on GTPlanet?

Since August 2, 2012

Have you taken part in any races recently, if so, which ones?

Yes. I am involved in the ORA FIA GT World Championship series.

What cars have you owned in real life? If none, what car do you wish to own?

I am not currently able to drive on the road quite yet. I am only 13, but I want a 1988 Toyota Supra or a 1991 Honda CRX for a first car.

How did you enjoy your session in the Reasonably Priced car?

Yes. I enjoyed it very much. The SPEED!

Thank you for your time @JakeKing39
