When I meant to me, I didn't mean it had to be about me or for me. Just write something, for the challenge that I'll judge . I don't care if its about something I hate. But I don't know you so I don't know what you will like.
So basically this is a game of trying to read some random guy half way around the world from me.
Yeah but remember that each tribe can only send 1 entry. Can we use something we've already written/typed?
I didn't mean that. You are the judge and therefore it is basically how well we guess your taste in writing. When I meant to me, I didn't mean it had to be about me or for me. Just write something, for the challenge that I'll judge . I don't care if its about something I hate.
Changed the rule to remove the "to me" part
I'm don't really have an opinion on writing. That's why I decided to be judge.I didn't mean that. You are the judge and therefore it is basically how well we guess your taste in writing.
Sure.I'm starting to think 24 Hours for Challenges are way too short.
Does anyone want them to extend for 48 Hours so people get more time?
24 hours is waayy too short. 48 hours sounds better.I'm starting to think 24 Hours for Challenges are way too short.

I'm sure you're aware that you just entered a piece of writing for your tribe...Well, I might as well make some kind of joke or something.
I'd make a joke about hydroxide, but it would be the most basic of jokes, even though I'm all about that base. Except I can't play bass. Clark Kent would agree that making a joke about hydroxide would be a super bad idea, but not as bad as anything involving a superacid. I have NO idea where this is going, but I do have nitric oxide. But I can't C carbon or iodine, especially without my glasses. And that's when I decided this joke was stupid and was going nowhere (And maybe too chemistry focused), and because I wasn't paying attention, I managed to F up something with fluorine. So much for my radon the Noble Gas Group. I have no bull, but I don't want one anyway.
You have to play the game for there to be a game.Well this collapsed quickly...
You and @Carbonox were probably the only people who played enough for it to be engagingYou have to play the game for there to be a game.
Umm.. excuse me, but there have been others who've at least attempted at doing the riddle challenge or the writing piece. Most people haven't been able to give their full attention to tygis for whatever reason, be it school, work, family, etc. And what could those people who can give their full attention do between challenges, the answer is, not much. The biggest downfall wasn't necessarily the effort given by some, but more the amount of people involved in the game. The concept was good, how it was implemented... not so much. You and @Carbonox were probably the only people who played enough for it to be engaging
True but the effort on the challenges weren't even by far, (though I did forget to mention a few people who contributed well) and the reasons that you said are likely the case. Though, if everyone contributed to a fair amount, I don't think it matters how many people are in.Umm.. excuse me, but there have been others who've at least attempted at doing the riddle challenge or the writing piece. When the ruling authority changes the law the people sometimes shift their opinions to suit.Look what I've started. Or ended, as the case may be.
You must be talking about @RESHIRAM5 as I had no authority here. When the ruling authority changes the law the people sometimes shift their opinions to suit.
I was referring to you being a mod.You must be talking about @RESHIRAM5 as I had no authority here.
Great idea and setup quite well in my opinion. It is the lack of playing by the players, which has let this down. After the idea of GTPlanet Hunger Games Simulator came to be by SonicCharmeleon. I thought of doing a Survivor Simulator of course based off the Reality Game Show; Survivor.
I did a test run and it failed badly. The RNG doesn't work for it unlike the Hunger Games sim, which then ended up with it being boring. However, an Idea hit that we could have our own game of Survivor.

The Format
Took awhile for me to think of the format.
Currently, the amount of episodes will depend on how many are interested. (Example, 14 participants equals 13 Episodes and the Reunion). Everyone is split into 2 Tribes but once we get to halfway we'll merge the tribes where it'll be every person for themselves, it'll keep going until we get to the final 2 where the Reunion (Final) Episode begins.
The best possible way I could think so that everyone from all times zones can compete is separate each episode in 3 Phases, each Phase last for 24 or 48 Hours. Meaning 4 days or 84 Hours will equal an episode.
The following 3 Phases are in order; Immunity Challenge, Voting, Tribal Council
Immunity Challenge
Immunity Challenge is where the Tribes or Selves if merged compete in order to be immune from the Voting. This can be ranged from anything like quizzes or contests (like a Gallery competition). Of course this means challenges can't really be physical since this is all text. You get 48 Hours to finish the Challenge. If it is a tie between tribes than EVERY TRIBE is up for elimination. If its between 2 members when the tribes are merged then they both get immunity.
This phase is skipped during the Reunion
Voting
The tribe or Players who didn't get immunity will have to vote someone off, this is majority rules. Voting will be done by PM so your votes can be private. You get 24 hours to cast a vote or you don;t get to vote. During the merge, Players who received Immunity can vote.
During the Reunion, the players who were eliminated get to vote for which finalist they want to win.
Tribal Council
This is where I tally the votes and whoever receives the most votes will be eliminated. If it is a Tie then they both have to compete in a Tie Breaker challenge. This phase also takes 24 hours so there can be a Tie Breaker and also the people who weren't voted off can have a bit of relaxation. I won't call out who voted for who to keep them private but you are free to discuss eliminations.
During the Reunion, the finalist that receives the highest amount of votes wins. If it is a tie than a Final Challenge with NO TIME LIMIT will take place.
Immunity Idol
You got to find this message somewhere on the web (which also supplies a clue):
Once you find it, PM me a Screenshot and I'll give you the Idol, you can use it to be invincible from Elimination (but only once). When you find it, I'll tell everyone that it has been found BUT, I won't say who has it, though the person with it is allowed to tell or give it to someone else as long as they both (receiver and sender) inform me, if he/she chooses.
The Players
Anyone wanting to join will be listed here. Tribes won't start until the 1st Episode and will be done by a RNG. To avoid an unfair competition, I will not compete and will just host the competition. At least 10 is needed to start though 18 is the absolute max amount of participants.

Remember to Outwit, Outplay and Outlast
I'm thinking of the same idea, since a lot of the issues came from half of each team members not being activeGreat idea and setup quite well in my opinion. It is the lack of playing by the players, which has let this down.
I would imagine if you take out the teams, this would work quite well. I am interested if you restart this with out teams involved. Primarily because you have to rely on others, which is tough over the internet.
P.S.
Surivor is a great TV Show and deserves a thread like this.
