ENJOY

Just a question about the curbs/sidewalks.

Do we have to keep two wheels on the track like this...?

or can we go onto the sidewalk like this...?

Going onto the sidewalk changes the racing-line completely and makes for faster laps, just a thought! :sly:

As long as its wall free then I don't mind.

This competition sounds interesting! I'll be switching to the weekly TAC and back to this competition.

404 Page not found. :indiff:

Well, I copied this from our my original competition that I made last year, so those links are probably derilict. However if you are doing the Weekly comp aswell you know the rules.

Audi s4. Seems really fast compared to yours but all my stats are in order. Definatley s2's and pro physics.

Here are my times so far, I think in the end I'll probably use the M3 but the Jag should be faster.

Crikey that is quick. I don't have the m3 :( so I can't use that one.

However I'm at work experiance next week and staying at one of my dads friends house. This means I will only have my psp and hopefully internet, (maybe my laptop aswell), I will be able to nuckle down and get some times in then.

Great times!

I ran 5-10 laps with all four cars and here are my times, with default tuning:

Jaguar S-Type - 1'46.122
Woah! The most powerful car in the bunch, in exchange for the heaviest weight. This car had by far the best acceleration. The back doesn't kick out as much as the M3, so this car's easy to tame.

Audi S4 - 1'47.161
Nothing exciting about this car, decent acceleration, good cornering and 4WD as a good choice on the track. Not the fastest, but easy to handle.

BMW M3 - 1'47.392
Lighter, less powerful counterpart to the S-Type. The back slides out too much though.

Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 - 1'49.324
Wayyy too slow.

Is cutting the inside kurb okay? That's two wheels on the kerb and the other two on the sidewalk (the space between the kerb and the wall). Here is an example:

Or the car with all four wheels on the sidewalk?

^ I asked the same question and was told that anything goes as long as there are no sparks. Check out post #7. That time of mine with the BMW will probably be my submission. It was after about 40 or so tuned laps.

GUYS!!!!

I was playing the game on the way to my work experiance and it wiped my saved data!!!!!

I therefore can't compete, I probably wont be remaking my car collection in the way it was before (I had over 260 hours logged on the game). And to get the certain cars I want will be near on impossible due to the "unique" dealership system.

I'll still run this comp obviously however I won't be able to compete.

Sorry about that.

Good luck to the rest of you for the rest of the week.

Edit: also as said before that aslong as no walls then it is cool.

I'm worried that I'm the only one to post my times. :scared:

Jaguar S-Type R '02 - 1'44.446

A nice selection of cars, as well as the track choice. The Jag is quite a handful but when you tame it it's great fun. Please say that this isn't a one-off event. I enjoyed this event and I would like a Round 4. :)

Here's my entry, had a lot of fun with the two less powerful cars. Didn't have the patience for the Jag or the Merc with S2 tires. The M3 is the faster of the two but I just couldn't finish a faster lap without sparks (quickest dirty lap with the M3 was 1'45.0xx).

Audi A4 '03 - 1'45.561

I'm also waiting in anticipation for round 4.

Thanx lbfs1! 👍

P.s. Sorry my entry is late, I always post on time but I'm used to posting on Mondays for WTAC and just realized I should have posted earlier today. :dunce:

I will keep it open abit longer. I have emailed the people who showed interested but havent posted here since.

Well here are the results. I have waited for the others after I pm'ed them however to no avail.

1st. DAN360
Jaguar S-Type R '02 - 1'44.446

2nd Pvr77
Audi A4 '03 - 1'45.561

I would have really loved to have taken part in the comp, however my psp deleted all its data as said earlier.

If you guys can drum up some interest with some others who compete in other gtpsp comps, or you know want to then the next Buisnessmans cup could be even better.

Thanks to all who compete.
Luke
