I was quite surprised to see NASCAR. I don't watch it all the time....but it is a HUGE culture throughout the United States for those who don't know. Not only did PD make the best looking NASCARS that I've seen, but this will bring new fans to the series as well.

I think it's a great move, like it or not.

WRC....hells to the yeaaah.

Now I'm waiting to see it in good quality, hopefully on the PSN later on.

As long as I font have to touch a Nascar car thoughout the game to complete the game I dont care too much, but It s annoying to know that Polyphony digital spent time to incoporate Nascar in the game. we could have had it earlier if it wasn t for this .(its a fair assumption right?)

same goes for the PSP version. during all this time PD was actually working on 2 games. no wonder its taking an eternity. in the mean time, there has been one forza on the 360 and by the time we get our first serious racing game on the PS3, the 360 owners will have their 2nd one.
PD is seriously understaffed, fans should nt have to wait that long to see their game coming to the current gen console. or just make it a smaller game and sell various add ons as the developpers develop the game more.
i m very excited about full GT5 but kind of upset at PD for their poor marketing decisions

WOW! I cannot contain my excitement! Gran Turismo 5 is going to be incredibly amazing! Damage!!! WRC!!! Top Gear Test Track! The Graphics are amazing, the cars are amazing...everything is perfect. I cannot wait until release day! :dopey:

This is from IGN's E3 coverage.

Wesnesday 7:45 pm - Unannounced Sony Title -- This could be big!

I think thats GT right there......maybe :)

That's what I'm hoping but GT5 has been kinda annonced but I keep my fingers crossed for a release date and some info on GT5

Nice pics Timppaq but one thing I keep asking me is: Is this cinematic graphics or gameplay graphics.

Hi fellas, this is Patrik speaking, who unfortunately got banned a couple of moments ago. I was making a "joke" about killing Amar if there were no news about GT5 at E3 (not a funny joke I know, but still a joke), I forgot to put some smileys in the post so I guess it seemed way more serious than it was meant to be. I'm really sorry Amar... :nervous:

Back to topic. Well, what can I say, other than the fact I'm stunned! WRC, NASCAR, realistic damage and realistic dirt! It's simply too much! :D

Just in case everyone didn't know, the video is now available Gran Turismo TV for those of you who have Gran Turismo 5 Prologue! I just downloaded it, and it looks unbelievably good if you have a HD TV!

This is why I keep saying that you should never doubt or dislike Polyphony Digital. This is exactly what I typed as my Facebook status:

... "is in shock and awe ever seeing not only "Gran Turismo for PSP," but (more importantly) the new teaser of Gran Turismo 5. WRC, NASCAR, and the first-bit of damage in GT! Can you believe it?"

I just think people are too eager and too impatient and just think that PD's just bumbling along with their franchise. Like, I don't see people complaining and b:censored:ing about a HALO or Gears of War title being delayed or not coming soon. So why GT? Any doubting of PD and GT that I've had were with positivity, NOT with "Gran Turismo will be the next Duke Nukem Forever." I can't wait for GT5, but I'm not too impatient as to where I'm cursing out PD every other day for slow news on GT5.

I'll explain more about the GT5 and GT: Mobile news in my Blogspot blog. But for now, here is a small opinion of mine in regards to WRC and NASCAR in GT5:

It's okay to think that NASCAR isn't as favored as sport as the World Rally Championship. However, this explains a more maturing franchise. Maybe seeing a GT game that's going to newer lengths to expand a ten year-plus franchise. You may like the addition of WRC. You may dislike the NASCAR deal so much. But ultimately, this shows that Polyphony Digital still wants to be the trendsetters of the modern racing game world, and are willing to go to newer heights to try to expand Gran Turismo to higher reaches. The inclusion of WRC and NASCAR has as much of a glamourous tone as Ferrari and Porsche in the Forza games. And really, this may be a BIG plus for American GT fans to see NASCAR. Maybe some spies at Polyphony Digital might have been seeing my videos and our posts and decided to rise to the occasion again.

Again, more on this in my block and maybe if I do a future YouTube video. Until then... get back to playing "GT5: Prologue" because you're going to want to prepare for GT5 as best as you can. Yes, the wait is long, but whether you agree or not, it's worth it.

You do realize that you will be banned again....

-> Hmm, not until tommorow for that unannounced PS3 game. I doubt it will be GT5, since the trailer was just released earlier. (maybe Tekken 6) :indiff:

-> And since Amar is still on the NDA lockdown; we may never know... ;)
