I've settled for a Premium BMW Z4 '03. 300HP at 1250KG. I have a question, What track will the car be run on ? (For Transmission purpose)

Ummm..I don't see a track name - just a picture. Is it like a toscana track?
It's the first 2 sectors of Eiger Nordwand short track.
Standing start from start line down the mountain, across the bottom and finishing with the check point just after the tunnel.

I might be changing my car - 55/45 weight distribution isn't me doing favors in the feelings department.

Changed to Premium Clio V6 (MR layout) - It's orange, french, and thirsty for blood. Hide.

Anyway, my car is, rather surprisingly given how long it took me to do the FC, pretty much finished. 80%, anyway. Just ask Newdriver or Cykosis about it. In a sentence, Mat, you don't need to worry about the cam car for a bit.
 
Oh, damn.. it seems you did break a rule, JC. You can't use the FC transmission if it gives the car more gears than stock. And it seems the R32 only has a 5-Speed transmission stock, so you can't use the F/C because it gives it six speeds. You're limited to only the stock or 5-Speed Close-Gear. There should be no reason for anyone to be exempt from the rules.

Mat said that if there was a extra gear, just push it aside.
 
PD totally trashed the 5 and 6 speed close ratio transmissions.
Not sure what they did to them but they rarely are any better than adequate and often the stock transmission is a better choice.:crazy:
 
At least the 5 speed close transmission works quite well on my Civic, it's meant to be for shorter course with short straight section.

I am tuning the Civic rather blindly as I am unable to test it online ... it's great offline, if anyone could give the tune a try online, let me know how it goes :)
 
I just use gear ratios from aftermarket tuners like ATS, TRD, Spoon, J's, Nismo, uhh and yeah.
Like...EG6 with ATS 3-5 Crossed Mission with 4.4 Final.
S2000 with 4.4 final and etc. :P
180SX, S14, or S13 with Nismo 6 Speed Crossed Mission.
I just like using aftermarket Crossed/Close-Ratio missions.

Snake, I killed 6th. With gears like that, I'd like anyone to use 6th for anything other than cruising. While tuning on the Nurb with Onboy, after topping out at 133 mph in 5th, only reached 162 mph while drafting him at 5000 rpm, yeah, 6th has no use whatsoever, which was my goal in the 1st place.

Oi, I did tell you the weight was 1320kg in my other PMs, didn't I? :P And the tranny is as you have it, just set 6th all the way left for some 5 cylinder thrumming on an afternoon cruise. Power limiter is...95.5 I think.

...Is it not detrimental running the 6 speed as a 5?
 
I'll be posting my setup later today... hopefully I can have a spot reserved, as I didn't make it in time for the Touge200 even though I posted my setup on the day it was due.
