so i redeemed the code for my collectors edition from play.com expecting the black veyron you all should know by now. However instead of the black veyron my code turned out to be for the white corvette ZR1, what you should get from the psp pack. anyone else had this glitch or bought the psp pack and got the black veyron?

Same here, but I was supposed to get the Enzo and got the Veyron...
But I'm not that bothered, since I originally was only interested in the ZR-1 that wasn't to be available except for the PSP bundle...

yeah its saved me £160 not having to get the bundle for the corvette, but idve liked to start with a veyron! tried contacting sony via the eu playstation blog but no response yet. Hopefully they can get me one then once play email me ill have all the "code" cars

Ive got same fault to, i got the collectors edition because i really wanted the veyron, but instead got the white ZR-1, not impressed!!

I dont think its play.com's fault as the code was inside the factory sealed pack, and play.com have no contact address aswel from what ive found, this is up to sony!

ok i followed this up with play.com, and they simply asked me to return the game and they will exchange for a new one.
I wont do this, as this will cost more to do, and will most likely get a new one with another botched code.
Will hopefully get news from sony at some point.

Gutted, still not received my copy yet (either Royal mail or the fact Play.com seem to be slipping up a lot regarding getting games to me on release date). Had the original one on order for £17.99 and then cancelled to pre-order the collectors edition for the fact that it had the Veyron.
Now hearing this I'm wondering how much of a smart move that was

stew, looking at the pic, you bought the standard edition correct? there response to me was to return the game, which im not going to do.
I also phoned sony about this, and they will get back to me within 24 hours.
I think thats the best way to go about it as the code was in a manufacture sealed box, and play.com have no control.

Just had an e-mail from play.com, had a new and valid code for the veyron!

Mine came today, and also got the email acknowledging the mix up and giving a new code for the Veyron. What a car, and I like the way the Air Brake can be seen moving if you have the outside car view.
Funny how the email said "please feel free to use both codes" as if we wouldn't anyway
Stew, I know they are in Jersey, but I remember a time Play would deliver on release date if not a day before. Now they only post the day before and with Royal Mail in the state its in at the moment, not many people stand the chance of getting the games on release date. Either way, I will still use Play because they are a good reputable company.
