Congratulations! Let me guess... a Toyota? :)

thanks mate, i think of a Toyota but it can be a Subaru '03 also xD (i think i'll go for the Toyota because i hate 4WD cars it's just too easy xD

twistedfirework
can you confirm that i qualified in 5th place and not 12th?
for car picking purposes.

I would like clarification of this also. As I understood it no one who missed the first deadline would be allowed to bump someone who met the first deadline.

As it's happened no one has been bumped at all so do we now take our positions for car selection based on time regardless of which deadline we adhered to? Does the initial bumping rule even apply to a veteran given that his place was always guaranteed and he only needed to set a time purely for the purpose of car selection?

I don't feel I should be penalised for spending all of my gt5 time making myself available to qualify others. I tried to qualify on the final day of the first deadline. But myself and other stewards gave our spots to new drivers. I think some clarification is needed.

From my understanding of my PM's with Masi before the deadline was extended, car selection will be in order of fastest to slowest, regardless of "late" submissions, meaning a faster time that was late still gets to pick before a slower timely submission.

It was only that a late submission couldn't knock a timely submission out of play. In the event that happened (which it didn't) then the slowest late submission would have been cut.
So as far as I know, it's just fastest picks first from this moment forward.

thats also how i understood it. i was just seeking clarification, which we now have. thanks to all involved, this season is going to be epic.

I'll have a complete list of the official results later tonight when i get home.

Thanks to all the Stewards and Co-Admins

Can't wait to start this out.

Ok. So there's 25 drivers in NTSC GT500. Probably a stupid question but does that mean there are 2 divisions?
If so, how will these drivers be separated?

I believe only the top 16 weekly qualifiers participate in the week's main race so I don't think there a need for more than one division, right?

According to the final leaderboards, I am in NTSC. I had asked Masi to switch me to PAL even before I did my qualifier and he said it was ok. Just hoping it happens :D. Can't wait to get started!

Oh ok. That sounds interesting. I like that. Puts a lot of pressure on like real life qualifying. :)

Same for me with PAL. They just haven't been updated.
FTW, we did this before the conference change deadline on Dec 9th.

Not even 30 people on the leaderboard for GT500 for both PAL and NTSC. I say we run 2 divisions each weekend. That way everyone can actually race. :)
