One of the few if ever times I'll be in Room A, and I enjoyed the atmosphere . Didn't really see much of any cars other than when I was passed, but it was fun

That's what matters and I'm glad you had it! Hope for more room a races for you in the future. Just keep at it and you'll most definitely get better

Had an awesome race. I have to admit that when dragon went off I done a lil victory dance.
Was in panoz's draft for a lil bit but couldnt catch up to him. Eventually he ran away. I was just watching the map as the reptile of our group was slowly catching me. He eventually did. I wish I never made that mistake in turn 1. End of 2nd stint dragon pitted one lap before me and I knew i'd have him for fresh tyres in the end. But if it werent for panoz and dragons incident then I guess I wouldnt have had him. Panoz was just too quick for me. I was forced to use my qualy setup with craploads of camber and a ride height lower than a b***h on a friday night.

I had 3 offs/spinouts the whole race. For suzuka I'll take that I guess, but if I wouldn't of made those 3 costly mistakes I may have been able to see black and white at the end. My one incident that wasn't in the beginning or with panoz was entirely my fault. Had looked down to put my cigg down and my ash tray had fell to the floor and just took enough concentration away I braked too late going into the hairpin and spun it around, believe that was during the 2nd stint. Won't let that happen again haha.

As I'll be in Belgium for Laguna Seca and can't race (DAMN!!), I'll take the early gamble and qualify pretty much as soon as qualifying is open, to give an early benchmark, and because it's my favourite track!!

I've never raced here before, but Im slowly learning the rythym. How many laps should tires last around here?
Im going to practice more laps later on see how it wears.

Not a big fan of this track, so many turns where the line is so hard to nail. Go figure I can make one I don't like but not one of my favorites. Oh well, at least I can make some points back this week.

I owned a G27 when the pedals died, took them apart and they were rust shot so I had to get a new set (wheel, shifter, pedals. Don't sell em seperate).
Now my shifter died (pops out of 1st, 3rd, 4th randomly, or goes into 4th at N) so I put one from the new set. This is getting expensive.

And Im worried if I can make tires last around here, many laps. How long should tires last on a 500 car?

Laguna is a torture on tires in previous races in the 500s, I'm guessing around 10 laps max.

Exactly!! Laguna has got a lot of history to it and is an epic track IMO. Your crazy if you haven't raced it yet haha. Rhythm is key when making your laps around here, the corkscrew here is one of my favorite set of turns from any track, idk I just love the challenge and elevation change of it.

👍👍👍 I may not like it (only cause I suck at it,) but I will still say it's a legendary track, and IMO the second best road course in the country (the first is Road Atlanta and this is not up for debate, RA kicks ass... just sayin'.) Also, fun fact; Laguna Seca was the very first real world track to be included into the Gran Tursimo series, which is kind of shocking. Most of you probably knew that, but hey, fun fact.
