The previous generation rendition looks cartoonish all of a sudden.

The PS2 had only 32 mb of RAM, in GTS the HUD alone probably takes up more space in memory.

Man, GT6 still holds up. Actually thought the top picture was GTS for a second, maybe it's because I'm super tired but wow it looks good. GTS' rendition is fantastic too, tons of detail!

I love how the pit-stop is more lively on GTS.

It's a retextured version of the GT4 model of the track. The GT3 one is very different.

Yeah... take a look at Trial Mountain for example, it barely changes from GT4.

GTS really had spoiled me. Back when I used to play GT6 regularly, I generally didn't have much of an issue with the car sounds. But now it's really hitting me with how bad they actually were.

It was what remains of "Vision Gran Turismo", a PS3 HD remaster of GT4 with more cars on track that never came to the market, but was substantially included into GT5 (standard cars and standard tracks)

I’m pretty sure the person you’re replying to is trolling. The car sounds are one of the other aspects in GTS that show a marked improvement over its predecessors. Even an objective observer would notice the difference in quality.

Don't think he is trolling, I have seen some post of said member and he has a strong opinion over car sounds in general. So yeah...

Yes, they went from really bad to mediocre. The improvement is there (mostly regarding mechanical sounds) but the engines sound horrid 90%* of the time.

Ye gonna have to disagree with you there. Some of the cars in GTS sound identical to their IRL counterparts imo. They just often lack a little bit of grunt and "dirtiness"if you get what I mean.

I'll let you believe that. It's not really worth discussing anyway. I already gave up hoping for a GT with proper sounding cars.

Again car sounds and all these things are subjective terms which means not everyone perceive and have the same opinion over it.

So yeah if it sounds identical for somebody then yes he/she may believe what he/she wants but it does not make it a FACT.

Same can be said over graphics and physics.
