Hey! :D you editor of quotations you!
sheeez im gonna try and submit a time sometime today its bloody thursday already, time flys when your sitting on yer arse on holiday.

In response to post #25 of this thread...
Thanks for "getting my back" Viper Maniac.
Further, I have played with three different RX-8's before I came up with the perfect car for this one. (right combination of parts)
The time I posted with PR is actually with a car with LESS horsepower. As I found that its possible to manipulate the HP numbers unfairly.
Interestingly, my car that was "overpowered" was slower around R-246 than the one I'm running now, by more than 1/2 second.
So, now I'm faster, and my Honor is intact.

on Monday, when i'll start the 2nd round.

keep 'em coming! :D

not quite. the race will end at 12:00 pm tomorrow night, in about 32 hours. :P

i got 1'30'*** last time.....i think its wrong but ill go run it again (and hopefully write it down :))

I do hope thats wrong because you'd get a few people questioning your time!

A few? Hell no try all if he runs a damn 1'30

You better write it down along with your sectors and your data logger.

impossible to get 1:30 on Tokyo with the Elise Motorsport. i just tried it, as i'm back from work early (stupid n00b set the kitchen on fire... )

if that's your correct time, PM me your setup. if not, then PM me your real time.

It cant be his correct time no matter how good his settings are, maybe he's wallriding cuz no setups for that car when its under 325hp can give you 15 seconds over the zz-s!

I concur. I ran (for me) a near perfect lap. No walls, at least two wheels on blacktop or rumble strip. You could cut, maybe, a second on braking technique, a 1:30 on this track with 325-330 HP is just not possible.

fine, dont belive me.....but i'll tell you this.....if i can use any kind of tire i want on that course then i will own.....

not before you send me your setup, so i can prove you really did a time of 1:30.

it is impossible, and i repeat, impossible for a 325 hp car, any of them, to lap Tokyo in 1:30 seconds.

either you made a typo, and meant 1:40 instead of 1:30.

i need some proof that you ran a lap that fast, without wallriding the whole track, and without cheating.

rules are rules, sorry.

So thats how you did it wallriding, did you wall ride at SSR5II in the GTD spotty?

How do you go faster riding the wall? Every time I touch a wall I pick up 0.5 sec or more in elapsed time, And I drop about 25 mph. I've run Super Speed way around the outside and with proper technique. Proper technique is quicker every time for me.

1:30
I knew the motorsport elise was good but not THAT good

Im a PM my time now (hope im not too late?)
