okay, the interest check thread wasn't exactly a failure, but it wasn't a success either... let's go, then!

just a short recapitulation of the rules and other bits before we start...

Rules:

-No 4wd (means WRX, Evos and WRC cars are excluded)
-No Race Cars
-No Tuner Cars
-Fwd or Rwd, or Mid engined cars are permitted
-NA or Turbo is permitted
-8 rounds
-Points for the 6 firsts (or 12, depending on how big it will get)
-Cars are restricted to 325 hp, you can have a less powerful car...
-NO HYBRIDS

Required Parts for every car:

-Racing Suspension
-Racing Brakes
-LSD
-Super Soft Tires
-Weight Reduction Stage 3

(you can buy other parts, but these ones are necessary...)

Round 1: Tokyo R246

Round 2: Grand Valley Speedway

Round 3: Apricot Hill

Round 4: Special Stage R5

Round 5: Laguna Seca

Round 6: Deep Forest

Round 7: Midfield Raceway

Round 8: Trial Mountain


here's how we'll proceed:

-you do 5 laps (or less, as you wish) in Arcade mode on the track we're racing. you take your best lap, PM it to me.

i'll sort out everyone in order with their best lap after the race, and declare a winner afterwards...

races could be held everyweek, or every 2 weeks depending on schedules.

so, if you're still interested, post the car you'll use, along with your name, and a list of mods you're doing to the car. You'll have to use the same car for the 8 rounds, remember! ;)

I'll take the Acura Integra Type R. I'll put mods till i get to 325 hp and all tuning parts :D

What happened to the Tommy Kaira Punkrock????

If you wont put that back in, gimme either the Speedster or the Honda integra
 
the Tommykaira is in the list, right before the Toyotas... :)

check with an open eye, i hadn't forgotten it!
 
Too many T's jebus, nearly 48hours of not sleeping a guy can make a mistake.

I'll take the Tommy Kaira and do every mod possible, its hp max is less than 325hp :shades:
 
How long do I have to choose what car I want? The reason I ask is cuz my ps2 doesnt want to read my brand spanking new gt3 cd anymore. I gotta take it back hopefully tomorrow or monday.
 
i'll leave to Friday for inscriptions, i think.

and Dess, sorry, but you'll have to choose something else... the series is for car with 2.0 liters of displacement or less... the Viper has 8!

All suspension and brake mods, And whatever it takes to get me to 325 HP.
Can we race more than one car?
And does it have to be a car that isn't taken yet? (if we can)
If yes, I'll also race the RX-7 type RZ and keep it in the Rotary family. And "we'll" be "TEAM C.O.F" (crazy old fart).:D

That oil change sounds like a waste of hp there buddy, drop it and get your engine alligned!

nope, 1 car only... :)

maybe if the thing expands, and we go into a 2nd season, we'll change cars, and have spares, but for now let's keep things basic... ;)

i don't think the cars will be slow... i can't wait to see what FWD vs RWD will give, since some cars are lighter than others...

i just hope some cars won't be at a real disadvantage... :embarrassed:

Since I've run the first race with a few cars, I'll take the RX-8.
And no, it wasn't the fastest one I tested.😈

I have everything done to the engine apart from N/A im thinking of dropping the racing exaust and putting N/A tune level 1 and having the semi racing exaust. Ill do this as soon as i get back to my PS2. I have a feeling my arse will get whooped :eek:

I doubt it, I suck at GT3 now, but I don't really care. And even though I've been here nearly a year this is the first series I've ever signed up for. :)
