This is kind of an interest check and start-up thread.
So, after the success of Ozzy's Guess the Band thread, I was talking over with some GTP users about making this one. Let's see how it goes.
It's quite simple. Post a picture of the album cover, making sure the artist/name of the album isn't visible. If the name of the band is on a corner and you can delete/blur it through Photoshop or some similar program withough eliminating the overall essence of the image, so be it. But if the image features the name of the artist in really big letters, better should find a different one.
Whoever gets it will post the next one and so on.
Thanks to Ozzy again for making such clear, and applicable rules)
A few rules:
1) One guess per post. If you got it wrong, then guess again.
2) If you answered it correctly, but you think you'll be off-line for awhile...then just say"skip me" so you don't delay the thread - if you post a pic, it will expire 24 hours after your last post.
3) Do not post 1000+x700+ pixels pictures, if they're big, post them as thumbnails.
4) Make sure we can see the cover clearly.
5) If nobody seems to guess it right, you can give at least 3 hints of who the band is before you reveal the answer, although the unwritten law (and the norm) is that your last clue is a very obvious one, just to keep the thread going.
6) Make sure the name of the band is NOT in the image URL link so nobody can cheat.
7) When answering, try to give out the name of album and name of the artist.
8) Have fun everybody
