Oh wait a minute, I'm an idiot. Sparky already guessed the right answer. Oops.
It was the GT350R, he was close when he guessed the normal GT350 as the GT350R is a racing version of the GT350. The GT350R is a type of Mustang and the original Pony Car, hence the riddle being "race horse".
