The Nismo GTR LM Race Car appeared in GT1 and GT2(as a race mod for the road version) but it disappeared in GT3-4 but the road version still appeared but by the time the Racing Car DLC Pack appeared for GT5, the Skyline R33 TC appeared and it is now considered as a reincarnation of the GTR LM

Yup, I knew you would say this and actually; I didn't ever really think of the R33 TC being based off of the GT-R LM that raced in Le Mans 24hr during 1995 & 1996. I mean, it looks to me more like it's based off of the Nissan Skyline R33 Touring Cars that raced in the 1996-1998 Japan Grand Touring Championships. Hence why PD referred and still refers this R33 as a Touring Car.
