Very sorry, I completely forgot about this! Toronado was right (2nd guess???). It was the Alfa Romeo SZ "Brutale": possibly the best looking ugly car ever made...

I love that car, it was a groundbreaking design at the time and I still think it holds up today.

Some of the new Alfas have take inspiration from that design. In my opinion, it looks very nice.
