Guess That Car V3 (Rules and leaderboard on first post)

Okay, here's the deal, SVX sent a PM saying he was going away and that he wished me to reveal the correct answer, which was included in the PM.

And we have a winner!

Nissan Serena/Vanette?

It is a Nissan Vanette Cargo 2.3d. Don't have the picture obviously, but you can go ahead Mark.
(Is there anything you don't know about cars?)

Thank you very much, I'll take it away.

Time to unveil ze auto!

Wait!!!! The LDV Cub in which I put is the same thing as a Nissan Vanette.

Indeed, this is a bit of a pickle. I got the PM from SVX around 2 AM and did just post the answer as soon as I saw the PM. Hmmm... I'm sure I'm the one to decide, but I guess that you would either take over this turn from Mark (and he removes his) or you somehow automatically get the next turn. But I do personally think that Mark should get it as you usually do not win when you post the "same" car under another name, you usually get a hint saying that you need to think of another version.

Ok then continue because there is no point in arguing it.

I'm rather confused, who did you say should get the point?
Anyway, in regards to Mark's blurred car, is it an Audi 80?

EDIT:Nevermind, didn't see that it wasn't German.

Can't we just give 1 point to each, or 0,5 seeing how they both were "correct" and posted in a kinda similar time frame. But one could argue that Mark got a hint seeing Roc's guess, but can't we give some kind of recognition to both of them?

No one is really close at the moment. It is named after a popular resort in a warm, European country.

+ It has ties to Fiat.

EDIT: Oh, and, reading through all of this, may I add, I wasn't familiar with the LDV Cub until after all this. I guessed Vanette because its pretty much the only van with such oval headlights, making it remarkably easy to recognize.

It must be a pre-Volkswagen SEAT.

SEAT Màlaga/Gredos?
SEAT Ibiza? That should though be way be too small.

¡Bravo!

You've just hit the jackpot :D

It's the Málaga, sedan version of the SEAT Rondo, which was based on the Fiat Ritmo-based SEAT Ritmo :boggled:

Take it away, Fishy!

Heh, the only reason I got what it was due to the "Vacation Resort" hint, there's only one company that springs to mind when you hear that.

And I presume that Roc or Mark will get this on the first try. ;)
