(Nissan) NISMO GT3 '13 - RACING hards - 617pp (V3)
Base Model '13
Shulze N24 '13
Team RJN '13

Stock: weight, engine

NOTE: the same base setting can be used for these cars as they all share the same min / max spring values. Any differences between them would be no greater (probably alot less) than differences between driving styles of someone who used Dpad and auto 'box, compared to someone using a wheel with excellent throttle/brake control.

* * * ALWAYS read 1st post before trying setup * * *

Suspension (i) SOFT:

70 / 70
22.60 / 10.12
1 / 3
2 / 4
7 / 6
0.5 / 0.5
-0.15 / +0.02

Suspension (ii) MEDIUM:

70 / 70
28.68 / 12.50
4 / 5
5 / 6
4 / 3
0.5 / 0.5

Suspension (ii) HARD:

70 / 70
33.71 / 14.49
6 / 8
7 / 8
2 / 1
0.5 / 0.5
-0.15 / +0.05

Brakes:

4 / 5 (could run 5 / 5 or eve higher fr - depends on your driving style. Lower fr & higher rr = less stable / more turn in (oversteer), higher front & lower rear = more stable / less turn in)

LSD:

8
11
15 (lower = more ''lift off' turn in (oversteer), higher = less turn in (understeer)

Aero:

345 / 595

NOTE: adjusting brakes and LSD dec to your style makes a huge difference.

Aero and gears will always need to be adjusted to each track. I always use stock aero and gears for testing, but would adjust accordingly for each track.

BMW Z4 GT3 '11 - RACING hards - 600pp

Suspension (ii) - MEDIUM:

65 / 65
17.19 / 19.97
6 / 4
7 / 5
4 / 3 (if too much lift off oversteer, increase fr arb by +1, or adjust LSD braking sens)
0.5 / 0.5
-0.15 / +0.30

Suspension (iii) - HARD:

65 / 65
21.19 / 22.81
9 / 7

2 / 1
0.5 / 0.5
-0.15 / +0.30

Does the nismo gt3 gtr tune work for a black edition as well? 1121hp.

No, the GT3 is rear wheel drive, the black edition is 4wd, chances are the suspension will be different too..

By all means try, but if it does work on another car it's a huge stroke of luck as each of these setups have suspension set for them, and most cars have unique suspension rates.

Some similiar cars can have very similiar setups, if the drivetrains, power and tyyes are the same, but more importantly the minimum and maximum spring values, then there's a good chance you could use that setup and tweak it..

Thanks for the great setups so far. Any chance you could do a current NASCAR Setup? Maybe a Daytona set up and a Road Course set up? Not sure if you take requests, just thought I would ask as there are no good NASCAR setups out right now for GT6 and the GT5 NASCAR setups dont transpose very well to GT6.

Thanks in advance if you can:bowdown:, no worries if you dont.:banghead:

Thank you :D

I can have a go, but I dont really know them very well.. Not that I don't like them or it, we had some very good NASCAR races with friends in GT5 and I really enjoyed them (Indy Speedway was my favourite), but it always seemed like NASCAR specialists knew a few "tricks" with their setups driving..

I'll try and put something together, but it'll probably be a bit rough and will need taking to another level by someone who knows these cars/setups alot better than me 👍

What tyres you using/need it for?

Racing hard or soft. No preference. The International A NASCAR events are racing hard.

Ok, I'll see, but can't make any promises.. For the future, please posts requests as a new thread, it's not really fair on the tuners if you post the same request with different guys - thanks 👍

Unless you just want a particular tuner to give you a setup, then by all means, post on that thread :D

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '13 - SPORTS soft - 639pp

Stock: weight, power, aero

Fully custom gearbox
Front/Rear Torque Distribution (20:80)

* * * ALWAYS read 1st post before trying setup * * *

Suspension (SOFT):

105 / 105
7.63 / 13.00
1 / 3
3 / 4
6 / 5 (some might prefer 7 / 6)
0.4 / 0.6
-0.15 / +0.10

Suspension (HARD):

95 / 95
12.95 / 17.09
4 / 5
6 / 6 (could use 5 on front for more front end)
3 / 5
0.4 / 0.6
-0.15 / +0.10 (if you want the car more loose, use +0.10 / -0.10)

Racing brakes:

4 / 5 (adjust to suit your style)

LSD:

8 / 16
24 / 11
10 / 20

NOTE:

Feels OK to drive, but so much power and weight means above average tyre wear and long braking distances, which kills it's laptime on shorter twisty tracks. Car is more competitive on tracks where it can stretch it's legs a bit.

If you have spare 'PP', use this to reduce as much weight as possible.

Many thanks :D

We've just done a base setup for the R35 gtr base model GT3, that'll be up later tonight. Yep, no problem with the Z4, I'll pop one up for that one too.. :D

The setups seems to handle most tracks ok, to get perfect setups for all variables is very hard, especially when taking into consideration driving styles - if you need any hints and tips for problem tracks, don't be afraid to post 👍

Good luck with your "Sportscar club", GT, Le Mans / Touring Cars are my favourite racecars

Thanks for your time & help again Highlandor! ---

The BMW M3 GT3 base set-up has worked great for me, I ran it on the '11 & '10 M3 GT3 (MotorSport) models @ Mount Panorama. I'm still struggling with the Benz SLS GT3 set-up @ Silverstone but im sure its just me. I will now try out the BMW Z4 GT3 set-up @ Mount Panorama. Thanks for the vote of confidence in my club, GT/LMP racing is the best!!!! lol-- I will be back with more feedback & questions, thanks again Highlandor.

Thank you, no worries - what issues are you having at Silverstone - understeer / oversteer, traction - please advise ad I'll try and help 👍

Where is this happening:

1) on brakes
2) lifting off brakes / apex
3) exiting corner

Low / mid or high speed corners?

This will help troubleshooting the setup alot faster/easier 👍

Hey,

Just had to say... your GT3 setups are fantastic... haven't had a bad'un yet! Am still working on tweaking the R18, having too much fun in the GT3 cars to get too much done though. Won a 10 lap race at Silverstone tonight with your SLS setup and it was just unbeatable...

Cool :D

If you like them, the DTM's and G500 base models are very similar..

I'm very lucky, I have friends who are willing to pound round the same track giving feedback about the setup (but they're pretty competitive at times and always want to get the fastest lap, so won't stop until they do). This help immensely as they have different styles and experience, so it helps to find something in the middle..

Glad you enjoy them and many thanks for the feedback - very much appreciated 👍

I just think they're great baselines for working on my own driving. If the car is good, it gives you the perfect base to learn new things, become quicker, become better on tyres etc.

Will definitely be trying the others as well, you've earned the accolade of becoming my go-to tuning garage so all these are going on my cars haha
