At this time,

This is critical. Most of the fans think we should throw Theodore away, and some say to not. Patrick Roy told the medias that getting rid of Theodore would be the same mistake that happened with himself when he been traded to Colorado. Cristobal Huet is good but nobody thinks that he would be able to lead the Habs through the series. I THINK, that Theodore got too much pression. People think that you can be at the top 100% of the time, but you cant. Theodore was at the top in the debut of the season, and came down. If we give him another chance, without pression, he could go back on the top. JUST GIVE HIM TIME DAMMIT !!!!

Whats your opinion, Habs fan !!!

From the few Habs games that I have seen this year, it is clear that the entire team playing in front of him is playing lazy and leaving him to flap in the wind. The same thing happened to Patrick Lalime in St. Louis. If you don't trust the people in front you, it's not possible to succeed as a goalie in the NHL. Goalies are the first to be blamed for failure, only because it is much easier to blame one player instead of six.

I say we don't give him another chance. We need to win to keep our playoff spot, and so far we're winning with Huet in the goal.
3 shutout in 7 games means the goaler is not too shabby, IMO.

Theodore is out for a while, is he not? Looks like Huet will get a decent chance to steal his job.

Yeah, he is expected to return in about 8 weeks, because he broke his foot or something.

We'll see how Huet performs against Vincent LeCavalier and Tampa Bay tonight.

Seen him tonight against Tampa Bay. THEY GOT OWNED !!! 6 - 2 for Montreal, I was so happy.

I'm going to the Bell Center on March 13th to see MTL and Tampa Bay, I hope we'll kick their asses again :D

HAHAHA! Theodore got traded yesterday!!! In exchange of Aebisher (He costs a lot less) Now with the cash they saved they need to get a good defencemen.

PS. I don't know what Colorado was thinking when they traded Aebisher for Theo :odd:

Well I guess its the best decision to make... Now they need to focus on changing Bonk, he's not good. Also, Zednik was good in the first year he was the MTL, now he's just moving around on the ice, get him out...

By the way, WTF Aebisher ???? He sucks !!!!

Since January 1st, Aebisher plays well... A lot better than Theodore. That's what they need to make sure they get in the playoff: a goalie on a hot streak...

I was really mad when Roy left (not only they had to steal us our Stanley Cup winning team, they also had to steal us the best goalie in the league :irked:), but I think this time it's for the best. Theo is very good... when he's good, that is.

Well, we might just keep Huet as #1 if he keeps on the blank games...

Another one for Boston! :D

Sorry about (practically) kicking you out for the series, guys. It had to be us...

Todd Simpson is now with the Habs. He's got 1243 minutes of penalty this season :mischievous:

I say keep Chris-The-Wall Huet in the goals, we are winning, so don't put aebischer in the goals (to justify the trade) and lose the chemistry that is going in the team right now.

Well. I been to the Bell Center tonight, final score of 2 to 1 for Tampa Bay even with Huet in the net. Markov wasnt present so Streit was there. Souray been the longest used player of the game but he wasnt 100%. Rivet been named 2nd star for the excellent work he managed tonight. Ribeiro is the one that scored from a rebound of the Burke's pad, which was a lucky goal. Aebischer will be in the net thursday against Carolina.

And to be a little off-topic, DAM HAVE YOU SEEN THE PRICE OF FOOD AND BEER AT THE BELL CENTER ?????!!!!! 3,04$ for an hot-dog, and 8,45$ for a beer, WTFFFFF !!!!! I'm ruined... lol

Aebischer won't have an easy start against Carolina :scared:

And yes, price is high. Mostly because they know you'll probably eat something and drink beer.

They are playing great right now. A win against Boston would provide them the 6th place.

Maybe a 7th shutout for huet tonight? :D

Any time a team pounds Colorado hard, I am happy. Even moreso if that team happens to be Calgary :)

I can't wait to see Théo play for the first time with the Avs! I just hope he'll do really bad.

By the way, does anyone have a video of one of Yzerman's shootout goal?

Carolina has had no punch in this series. I think lower seeds are at an advantage, since they've played with intensity during the last part of the season, and the top teams have not. Dallas and Detroit have looked pretty sluggish, too.
