I've already decided that I'll dress up as... myself. I don't celebrate Halloween, but I find it funny how people react when they hear that reply. Though, I've been quite amazed by how people decorate their houses in the US for Halloween, some are in fact very scary in my opinion...
I thought it is an all-Euro-America-Australia thing.I find it silly how people in Australia celebrate Halloween. It's an American celebration for Christ sake!

Dunno. Maybe hes an Aboriginal AustralianWait, what? Seriously?
I think if you check your history you'll find Halloween is a British Celtic celebration (Irish/Welsh) which is older than America itself.
I find it silly how you'd make this assumption without bothering to know anything about Halloween.
When I come across something I don't do that has no affect on me, I don't feel the need to tell others that them doing it is silly.Well I don't celebrate it
I find it even worst when people here in Portugal celebrate it! And it's getting bigger every year. Halloween never had anything to do with our culture (hell, most people here didnt even know what it was until not long ago), but in recent years companies have been pushing it for sales of wharever products they're selling, and sadly it's picking up fast.I find it silly how people in Australia celebrate Halloween. No I am notDunno. Maybe hes an Aboriginal Australian
Nah thats good man. I dont too. But its ok though if you just take a photo in front of some Halloween ornament. If you didnt then its ok too. Nobody force you to do thatNo I am not
Look, if people want to celebrate Halloween, I won't stop them
Preferably recent but previous years are also welcome. Can we show pumpkins and halloween costumes from previous years here or is it just recent stuff?
Free candy, man. What's the issue?
Is Halloween big in Thailand?I'm considering going in drag. Others are very keen to see it happen. It would be scary.
I suppose I'd be Buffalo Bill.
Although trying to explain to small kids how a large scary man wearing a hockey mask and wielding a blood soaked machete symbolises the spiritual end of summer and remembering those that have died is probably a tough one for you.@axletramp, I don't think it's huge here but because we're a school it's a way to entertain the kids for a day and bring them more into western culture. It was big in China, those people love some Halloween.
They have Halloween on a daily basis. Imagine having Shem try and teach you every day.Although trying to explain to small kids how a large scary man wearing a hockey mask and wielding a blood soaked machete symbolises the spiritual end of summer and remembering those that have died is probably a tough one for you.
