Halloween 2014: Show off your costumes and Pumpkins! (or just a photo of you)

A halloween is a good halloween when people simulate everything as realistically as possible. My sister talked once of how a local grocery store had whole lamb heads, and I thought how awesome, gruesome and scary it would be if you fastened an actual lamb head- flesh, tongue and eyeballs still in tact- right where the doorbell is so the only way kids can get their candy is to have one put their hand through its mouth.

That would be freakishly horrifying. Perhaps one of you should try something similar.

Whatever can whole-heartedly scare the crowd away. Only those brave enough to ring the doorbell get any candy. This somehow became a trial of guts.

Pretty cool. Have you gone with a Slipknot theme? I tried a Slipknot face paint few years back. Kids didn't get it. :(

Yeah man. Corey Taylor`s Iowa mask I`m wearing this Halloween. Even got myself a jump suit too. I`ll try to get a pic on Halloween then I`ll upload the full thing on here. :)

For Halloween i planned to watch some horrifying sports imjuries with friends. Definitely scarier than Horror Movies like that ridiculous Ouija because its much more realistic and we really feel bad about it.

I'll be home this time for Halloween since it works out well with my college schedule this time. I won't be trick or treating, so I'll either go to a friend's house or stay home and pass out candy. I just haven't decided yet.

I'll be off to a party somewhere, haven't decided which party to crash yet. There will be beer and possibly some music but other than that I don't have details.

Will follow with pics when I have some. Watch this space.

I'm going to a Halloween party on Saturday. I'll be dressed as myself of course, don't have the money for a costume. I'm bringing candy and food though so it's not like I'm not contributing.

Before and after of getting Miss Koios' dress ready for her birthday. She'll be a zombie smurfette after the make up and gore is added.

My pumpkins. Were green. And pretty small.

Also I went to huge cabaret show and won a bottle of whiskey. For wearing a dress.

I grew tired of carving numerous real pumpkins in marathon sessions prior to Halloween only to have them rot and die so quickly, so I did some research and ended up where now I carve 'craft pumpkins'. They look like real pumpkins, but are made of foam...so therefore no rotting and dying. They stay the same and allow me to display them year after year as well as carve all year round if I desire.

In addition, I now donate at least two pumpkins to a local Children's hospital, and since they can't have anything that can create or add germs, the foam ones fill that need nicely...as well as giving sick children something to look at other than empty hallways on Halloween night.

Most carves are based on patterns from pumpkin sites on the net, with some modifications here and there by me using a Dremel and various drill and diamond burr bits.
