Thanks, all, for the birthday wishes. I kept it short and sweet. I'm not so big on my own birthday anymore. My wife made my favorite meal and my daughter actually handed me a card from herself. But, don't tell my wife wife that my daughter got me the exact same card she got me last year. I am saving birthday card from her in the back of my transplant information notebook so I was even able to check.
My wife also made me a sugar free, low sodium cake to stick to my diet. It tastes fine, but the consistency and texture is slightly off.

On an odd birthday side note. I was getting ready for bed last night when I noticed I now have laugh line wrinkles. It was just after midnight, so the very first thing I did on my birthday was find visible physical signs of aging.
