Hardest Seasonals?

I'm currently having a go on the real life circuit tour with the jaguar xjr9 with race hards and no aids. Can't get past suzuka circuit, but shaving bit by bit of my time. did drive more than 1000km's trying to gold them. Hope i don't have to reach the 2000km's before i do:scared:

It's funny seeing the above answers are vertically all Lamborghini focused, I managed these, not with ease, but were doable within my usual time limit of a fortnight. But the Ferrari F1 events still remain ungolded, I'm not the biggest F1/formulaGT fan, so building up some enthusiasm to do them is hard enough. They'll be done one day, but it's going to have to be a really long boring day for me to make the time.

Dude, the Ferarri F1 event was sooo easy. I even done it with dropped PP!
The Lambo event is still pretty much impossible!!

lambo- of course. I bought the nomad and gave the finger to nurb/nord. Will NEVER do again.

f1. 1 slip and Im done in. already have sp1 so why bother right?

civics. wow, tons of trial and error ( might I stress error) on setups and gearing

all others have been easy for me.

the brit. lightweights was throwing me for a loop till i figured how to make the evora handle like a go kart ( hint: balast!)

Instead of using the rabbit thing, why doesn't pd just use features already in the game, like heavy damage, penaltys, and grid starts. It would be a lot more fun than chasing a rabbit, with all of those things on it would make for good clean racing.

I found the Lambo event quite tough, took quite a lot of trial and error with different cars before beating it. Also the Japanese 80s fest was tough as was the Honda Civic event at Clubman Route 5.

Nice to know I'm not the only one. Finally got down to 5:28 on the Clubman and now the leaders are down to 5:25. Oh we'll, matter of time to get a slower lead group. Have given up on the Lambo event,

Civic at SSR5 was the hardest for me, tried several different civics before barely getting it. The C7 was difficult if I tried pushing hard, then I just focused on trying to run a clean lap.

Japanese 80's festival was rather difficult until I found in my UCD a Toyota CELICA 2000GT-FOUR (ST165) '86. The 4WD made it almost too easy, even Tsukuba.

Lamborghini was by far the hardest for me but I was able to gold them all with the Gallardo. Took quite a few tries though as it really pushed the driver to make very few mistakes in order to win.

I guess it's a case of 'horses for courses', I really enjoy driving the Lambos, so a whole seasonal was just what I was waiting for, whereas, like I said before, I really am not an F1/FormulaGT fan, so that event can sit & collect dust until I'm in the mood for it. But I am having fun with the C7 at the 'ring, though my nerves are taking a bashing lol.

For me, Lamborghini 550pp Exclusive was the hardest to complete. 1st @ Nurburgring took me months.
I also found the Japanese 80s Festival @ Tsukuba difficult. Those two stand out for me.. Lately, the seasonals seem to be getting tougher.

The Lambo' one is driving me nuts! I've been trying to win at Rome for ages!

I used to like Rome.....:banghead:

Japanese 80's Seasonal??? Really?:dunce:
I found it pretty easy

While not 'easy' I found the races fun once I realised the other cars were there to help me around some of the corners.....and brake!

I know it's not on the current list, but the Expert one was a killer. The one with the Fiat 500 & Evo.

That really was a classic. Still got the replays and watch them every now and then.

I'd say the most demanding one right now is the Lamborghini seasonal, but also the most rewarding. For me at least. I couldn't be bothered to go at any lengths fiddling with a tune, adding ballast and such things, so just a bit of suspension tuning and bringing the car up to its PP limit.

I feel pretty smug about having a very tidy gold on the Nordschleife ;)

That's my idea of a seasonal :)

Of all the ones currently online now, which 3 or 5 did you have the most trouble golding all races?

The Ferrari and Lamborghini seasonal's were toughest for me as well as the truck seasonal !

I'm still only Silver with the Lambo at Rome, and the Nordschliefe, Rome was one of my favourite tracks! I found SS5 with the Civics difficult but solved it with a very fast, very heavy Civic Type R '08, using the opposition as brakes or cornering aids and taking almost every corner in a power slide. Even then it took me several goes before I managed it.

I hace to say the Expert seasonals as Jaywalker mentioned.
Including the one with the Fiat500.
I also still have the replays :)

The lambo seasonal is the only one left for me, so may be I'll have another opinion soon ;)

For me the Lambo seasonals and the one where you use the Ferrari F1.
My biggest gripe with the F1 is that it's so twitchy....
( The only time I actually enjoyed driving an F1 , or Formula Gran Turismo for that matter, is when running some laps on the Cote D'Azur )

I am finding the lamborghini seasonal much harder than any of the others. I finally managed Rome in a Gallardo by about 2 seconds.

Not tried the other 4 tracks yet. I have golds in all other current seasonals except for the following few...

b-spec 5 monaco (I've managed the similar race in GT mode so must be possible, Bob keeps crashing at chicane after tunnel)
Ferrari F1 (yet to attempt)
Drift trials (not got into these either yet!)

Haven't tried any Seasonals older than the Pick-up Challenge. Of the 6 I have tried, the SSR5 race on the Civic seasonal was very frustrating, getting very close 4 times and just getting it on the 5th attempt. Will have to try the older seasonals soon! :)

I found the Lamborghini race at Autumn Ring much harder than the one at Nürburgring. The Ring took a few attempts but it was obvious right from the start that you just needed a decent run without getting held up by the traffic to get through. Second or third attempt with such a run and I won handily. At Autumn Ring I had a hard time believing it was even possible at first, and it took easily three times as long.

I had trouble with Autumn Ring too, though not as much as the 'Ring. A good tune and proper gear ratios made a huge difference.

After trying every now and again for over a month, I finally finished the lambo and moved on to the F1 and killed it in a few hours.

The Lambo Nurb is an absolute killer!!! Golds in ALL the other tracks after 3 or 4 attempts. Can't get close with the Lambo on this damn track!!!!

I always forget to take pictures but I was on a lap that should have been a 7:12 something, and both Miuras actually went off track somewhere before Kesselchen I believe. "Easy" win. Well, not easy as such, but a win :)

Must make photos, soon.

That is exactly what I experienced. I was so shocked I almost just stopped dead in the turn.

Lamborghini 550pp, Nurburgring circuit.

Could only get this.

Rome & Toscano I used a Miura.

SS5 i used a Gallardo.

Autumn Ring was a headache, i used a Murcielargo LP670-4 SV. I have to cut some roads in order to catch up with the 2 Miura, & bumping them off of course. http://youtu.be/fkP62gaXduc

The Nurburgring i just cannot do it... seems impossible. I remember i crashed into the rear of the 2nd Miura & took it's place. The 1st Miura crossed the finishing line.

Question: Have you golded the AMG Driving School Intermediate 1-5?
If No: Well then, you ain't good enough to gold these events (yet). Got to go to school if you want knowledge.
If Yes: Well then. get on with it and try again!
Seriously. The AMG school is a 'Ring teacher. Breaks down the track into nice manageable bits then puts it all together for you. There's a reason they put it in the game.
Licenses and Special Events are a must to get the most out of this game.
