Has anyone else noticed that the Jay Leno Oldsmobile is making 1,055bhp?!

Yeah, since a good while ago. It was featured in a show that the Discovery channel aired yeeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago called Rides. There they explain everything about it. It's great that PD has a close relationship with Leno, after all he's an amazing source of cars for them to model. Actually Kaz, your car list should include the entire Leno garage...just a friendly pointer
Yes please.

I can't wait to drive this thing.

Also, as to why US muscle cars are SC only - probably because superchargers are simply more traditional and do a better job of maintaining the power characteristics muscle cars are known for.

I sure wish PD would take a look at some of the other cars in Jay Leno's Garage, but I do get the appeal of this particular car even if it doesn't appeal to me.

The exhaust tips are fine, but ya, the pipes themselves don't have a shader on them that look anything like any sort of metal.......

I'm pretty sure that all I'll be doing with this car is burnouts, and some straight line high speed runs. Even if I were to try to turn the wheel, it would still go straight.

Isn't the running gear based on a newish Corvette? Should go around corners ok?

I think maybe it's a custom. You know, had some work done on it or something.

To be honest, although I don't have particularly in depth knowledge of American cars of the 60s and 70s, I feel like I'd be aware of a thousand horsepower car if one was released as stock back then.

The name of the car having the words "jay leno" in it should be an obvious giveaway that it is not some stock model.

I realised it was customized but I didn't realise that it was as customized as it is. And I don't know about you but I think 1,000+bhp is a big deal in the GT world.

Get ready to be rammed off the track from first position, on the final lap on the Nurburgring, by a two tonne gold chrome Toronado
 yeah, a two tonne gold chrome Toronado that's two laps behind because it needs an anchor to turn
