I hit 40 last night at midnight. Started the 24 hour Nurb right away. . .will be done with the long slow bspec grind as of midnight tonight!

BTW - thanks goes out to my remote racing friends who definitely helped get me there quicker. Much Much quicker.

I'm halfway through 39

I collected 5/6 of my drivers prize money/xp last night and it came out to almost 5 million XP lol

should definitely be through 40 by the next cleanout

B spec Level 40 came and went weeks ago. Just finished grinding my way to The Air Of Experience trophy and now settling in for months of grinding round the Indy Speedway to get myself up through the A spec ranks.

Ran 'Ring 24 hour and golded it with the Toyota Minolta. Ran my three top-ranked drivers in it and ended up with one of them hitting level 40!

So that's it for B-spec!

BTW - the 'Ring 24 hour is amazing to watch, with the night effects and campgrounds everywhere.

Do you get the "air of experience" trophy for:

a: Hitting level 40 (combined)
b: One of your drivers hitting L40
c: One of your drivers golding every race / or a lot of different races
d: One of your drivers racing a set number of races (ie 200)

I have hit L39 (combined) with 2 drivers also on 39 (one half way to 40, one just turned 39).

Working on lvl 38 running Le Mans as we speak. Should get to lvl 40 sometime next week if my ps3 holds out. Its been on for almost 3 weeks non-stop grinding B-spec enduros (and a few A-spec Seasonal events when I am home and not sleeping :))
Most electrical items (in my experience) tend to fritz when you turn them on, so leaving it on should be the best policy. I wonder if Sony or PD would bear any responsibility if extended grinding did kill PS3s?

Also, I see other people had drivers make 40 before the overall b spec score. Anyone know how this happens? I would've thought the best a single bob could do was match the overall score level?

Nearly 23% of the xp you need to get to Lvl 40 is between 39 and 40 so I think if you were just low level grinding via remote races, this isn't probably the quickest route.

I did nurburgring 4h overnight, then set 9h suzuka running before I went to work for a few days (using the same car, Stealth GTR for both, but with different gear settings) then another 24h La Sarthe for a big push, then last night I scored about 300k off remote races and then did the dream car championship to round off and stick a bit more cash in the old coffers. Al in, didn't take as long as I thought it might.

Oh man a long time ago. According to my trophy it was on Jan 7. All I can say is I'm happy to see its over with. The trip from 35-40 was a nightmare. :scared::crazy::ouch::yuck::guilty: My PS3 was never off and ran 24/7 for over a month.

+1

I reached level 40 today, mostly did it autogrinding but still whata pain. My driver profile says that it tool well over 1000 races.

Congrats to you peeps who have reached 40 with a driver. I am currently around 75% of the way to level 34. Right now though I'm focused on the bobs earning me money so they are running the dcc a lot. They may not like it but they better win or I'll find another driver LOL.

Reached is this week. Lots of grindng between 35 and 40 - but bspec remote race grinder made it much much better.

Thanks to all who helped!

Now to try and get to 40 Aspec - ugh. . .hope those in-game saves come soon.

B.Sharpe 38

Waiting before doing 24h A-Spec races.

Hit level 40 last night! Ran the 9hr race overnight, woke up checked the used car lot and my 2J i'd saved up for was there! All in all a nice 24 hours :D

I got to level 40 this morning! My original driver is tackling 24hr Nurb right now, I think he may get to level 40 after this race! I won't be doing anymore bspec racing after this:tup:

I hit 40 on the weekend. I'm still running remote races to make money and am buying several cars each day. My goal is to collect all the premiums excluding the multi-million credit cars first.

Then I'm going to work on collecting the standard cars I find interesting.

Yesterday i did it . 👍

now this is my BSpec status :
BSpec Level 40
No 2 pilots at level 38
No 3 pilots at level 37
No 1 pilot at level 36

I have to do the 24h ..yet ..

Now my goal is to do all the races (24h) and levelling up all the pilots at level 40

I got level 40 about a month ago, I had to do it the hard way! I wish I waited now, leaving ny ps3 all day for the ten or eleven 24 hour races, wasn't in my plans!

Hopefully I should reach it today.... About 39 3/4 this morning... having a more difficult time getting my older Bob to 40... takes forever. I have already completed all the Endurance races with gold except the last one which I need to reach level 40 first. At night I work on the A Spec up to 27 I think getting more difficult to win the 10 laps races in gold... I get tired and panic when they start bumping me when I think it's almost over

i hit level 40bspec early this morning, almost on level 39 on aspec so thats my next grind. I still have the 2 24hr races on bspec to do though :(

when im not on aspec ill be hosting remote races to show my appreciation to those that helped me :D

I found a-spec to be easier to complete, when I'm racing myself it doesn't feel like as much of a grind.....not that I've completed b-spec yet.

Once you retire a bob can you bring him back? If you retire him you keep the $ and xp he got you right? Is there a benefit to having a Bob that loses a lot? In looking at some of your screenshots, you have Bobs that have won all of there races, or lost only one with over 100 races, 3 of mine are like 50/50 for wins, but I thought that was the norm.

Maybe it's because I remote race all of my guys?

Well a few of my bobs have such a high winning ratio because I baby sat them in the 1st several race series, remote racing wasnt available at the time either. I retired one of my drivers the whole time i did bspec, i kept all the money and xp. But I did notice one thing though, level 0s lose alot lol and depending on the people remote racing your bobs choose those over your higher levels. Another thing too, you can keep your bob a level 0 as long as you dont accept the money, but once you do your level will jump alot higher.

Is it a matter of if or when with PD adding in-race saving? I've read it was in GT4. Are we assuming the feature will be added because it was in GT4, because PD has hinted/announced it being added, or because it just makes sense?
Currently nearing 40 B-spec, 33 A-spec and I have only done 2 of the 2.5 hour enduro's. Honestly I was surprised to find out one was expected to actually devote 24 hours real-time to a race. I have a PSN friend who deals with the A-spec races like a real endurance races: He invites 3-4 friends over and they take shifts.

I am and Im running my last B-spec race right now, The 24 hours of Nürburgring. Then i will be done with B-Spec for ever(or until/if they add more events). :D 2 hours and 10 mins to go.
