I asked the question to all parties regarding the compatibility of G25 with PS4.
These are the relies:

Playstation- Just to let you know that we, unfortunately are not allowed to discuss 3rd party products. The only thing I could advise would be to contact Logitech.

I hope this helps, but if you have any other questions please contact PlayStation Support using the contact details below or by replying to this e-mail.

Logitech-
I understand from you that you would like information regarding the compatibility of G25 Racing Wheel with PS4.

The compatibility of the wheel in the case of Playstation is provided by the game itself, at the PS4 has USB port, technically it should not be a problem for G27/G25 but we must refer to the game developer to check if it is supported. At this time Project Cars has announced that only the Thrustmaster brand is supported with their game.

Logitech usually provide the drivers to game developers to include a give support to the wheel, finally is a decision of them to include them to support the wheel or not.

Codemasters-
Thank you for submitting your recent request to Codemasters Customer Services concerning F1 2014.

Unfortunately we do not have those type of details on the game at the current time. Full details will be made available on our website, closer to the game's release date.

Project cars- NO REPLY- The website does state "Slightly Mad Studios is committed to ensuring as many wheels and controllers are supported at launch as possible." However they do seem to have a contract with Thrustmaster but its not a definite no to other wheel compatibility.

Clarification would be nice but what are you to do.

Dont know if it will make a difference, but cant do any harm. Sign this petition

Isn't that a misleading petition title? If Sony is relying on the game developers to be more proactive with this, how do you think they are going to respond if it isn't actually perceived by them as their concern? They have after all provided the USB port.

The only way I can see it working is if they require any developer going through them to seek wheel support drivers with the relevant companies and adverstise this.

Thrustmaster has exclusive rights to the ps4.

If this is the case sony could have announced this a little louder , and they could go fxxx them selves . Bough all new Fanatec stuff for GT6 and best wheel and pedals ever love it ! Bought a PS4 on hopes and dreams that some better driving game would reach the platform before GT7 and Drive Club looked promising.. Then Drive Club got delayed for months and months.. Forgot that I even own a PS4 ... Today a copy of Drive Club was in my mail, popped it in and now this steering wheel **** !! Sony why didn't you just make a PS3.5 instead of making a PSD ?? Where D stands for disappointment ! :grumpy:

I don't have to check anything. It is up to you to prove a claim you have made.
No, if your to lazy to even check the tread your making uninformed remarks on, then why the hell should anyone else take the time to point them out to you. What you don't have to do is comment on something your clueless on. "I don't have too." :banghead:

Not to be rude or anything, but you've quoted this page.

There are no links on it that support your claim with evidence.

Not sure if this made the rounds before...

Just read this from the Guilemont Corp (Thrustmaster controlling company) financial reports:

Prospects for 2014
Now a world leader in the racing wheel market thanks to its exclusive positioning with regard to the new game consoles, the Group is expanding its product lines in order to take full advantage of this year’s rollout of the Xbox® One console in 26 new countries, as well as the rapid growth in PlayStation®4 console sales, and aims to take the lead in mobile DJing products for tablets. Thanks to the worldwide potential of its new releases, the Group anticipates sales growth for fiscal 2014.

And again here:
For Sony consoles, the T80 and T80 DriveClub™ models – the first wheels for the PlayStation®4 console, also compatible with PlayStation®3 – have taken full advantage of both the launch of the PS4 console and of the game Gran Turismo® 6 on PS3. Thrustmaster’s exclusive positioning on the new consoles has allowed it to sell these new products worldwide, and further expand its distribution network.

sorry edited now.

Thank you. 👍

That might mean exclusivity deal. To me though, exclusive positioning means that you're the only choice at the moment because no competition has arrived on the market place.

I didnt sign to accuse sony but more as a show of disappointment. As it stands now, my xbox 360 hard drive died yesterday so all forza data gone. On that basis, last night i looked up bundle deals for ps4 and priced up the t300rs. As it happened amazon uk had dispatch/release day of today for the t300. I nearly purchased everything so all i would need is project cars on release and i would sell g25 and xbox games to try and recoup abit of the money. I didnt purchase and low and behold, this morning the dispatch day now comes in at 3 to 5 weeks which obviously puts it past PC release date. I scoured the internet and cant find one anywhere. The thrustmaster website suggests amazon and argos as retailers to buy from. Argos dont even list the product. Again this whole thing is a sham. Come PC release, no one will have a wheel to play it.

JUST CLOCKED PROJECT CARS RELEASE DATE HAS BEEN PUSHED BACK TO MARCH 2015.

PC got delayed to March...

Go and check. All sources I have checked say March for ps4 xbone and pc. Might have to go and get xbone and forza 5 now. Still leaves me with the issue of no compatible wheel. Feel like no matter which way I turn, someone is waiting to smack me in the face.

Hello guys !

I'd like to know if one of you ever tried to play on PS4 with the Thrustmaster RGT, the one that looks like the T100 FFB. I've seen the latter does work even though it is supposed to be only for PC/PS3 so I think there's hope. Thanks in advance.
