Good question. That screenshot was for the second person and the Lancer being first was coincidental. Let me check the replayA whole second ahead? Is that guy really good or is there something going on here?
Seems particularly strange given how the Lancer struggles with speed, and Nurb GP has two massive straights.Good question. That screenshot was for the second person and the Lancer being first was coincidental. Let me check the replay
I just checked the replay, and yeah it seems pretty legit. He does struggle with the straights, but he more than makes up for it with really late braking and early exits. Mid-corner his speed is the same as my M4 but he smashes the throttle way before than I do (and mine is just a gradual increase rather than a smash)Seems particularly strange given how the Lancer struggles with speed, and Nurb GP has two massive straights.
ABS off?I just checked the replay, and yeah it seems pretty legit. He does struggle with the straights, but he more than makes up for it with really late braking and early exits. He's not invincible either I just checked out the Top 10 again and he got beat by L-Shooter_RB26 in a TT Cup.
No ABS default I think. He's on full brakes even when turning in on the slower cornersABS off?
Fair enough. So he's making use of the superior handling... well done I guessNo ABS default I think. He's on full brakes even when turning in on the slower corners
He's the Nations Cup winner for at least 2 seasons in the Asia region iirc I won't doubt it at all that he got those times in 1-2 tries per eventL-S has gotten #1 time on both race B and race C. I checked his profile and he has only driven 22km today, and 0km for the previous day.
He's a more recent player (only saw him last season) but he's regularly on the Top 10. He mains the Lancer (both Gr. 3 and 4) so that's also a testament on the Lancer's mightJeez, beau231 has 51 wins in 73 races
That's one of the strengths of the Lancer, I do that with the Gr3 (which is very competitive) but with the Gr4 it's discouraging to drive when there are better overall cars available. Apparently the Cayman behaves somewhat similar to the Lancer Gr4, Cayman struggles hardcore on straights but turns beautifully through technical courses.I just checked the replay, and yeah it seems pretty legit. 11 cars in gr3 and gr4, Lancers 6th and 7th/+0.092 and +0.232 respectively. The gr4 is very safe and easy to drive though, I like it and it could be very beneficial to more beginner drivers even if it isn't the fastest.Interlagos is one of the circuits I've had moderate success with the Gr4 Evo in Sport Mode. Holding its own and being very competitive in the corner/hairpin sections but then losing out on the long home straight. This is when I generally wave to the M4, TT and Vantage as they fly by!
Out of interest, where did the Evo rank in your tests?
A whole second ahead? Is that guy really good or is there something going on here?
He is just very, very good. He's previously had world records in GT 6 TT's, and I'm not sure if it's still the case but I no for sure he was one of the TRL guys.Good question. That screenshot was for the second person and the Lancer being first was coincidental. Let me check the replay
Latest BoP update has buffed the Gr4 Evo (again)
V1.15 (29/03/18) Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition Gr.4 [Power Ratio : 99% > 100%]
Now running at 389bhp and 1,343kg. Be interesting to see how it holds up in Sport Mode now.
