Have You Ever Hit "That" Point with a Car?

Only one car to date, although it shouldn't exist. it is a hybrided Suzuki Cappuccino, with 275 hp.

GT4 has sim tires to

But they (economy and comfort) don't let you slide around as well as with GT3 sim tires. :grumpy: Also even though they DO slide its more of an under steer slide than an over steer one. And when they start to slide rear end first its harder to control

i have hit "that" point with an nsx fully modified in the handling department and 306 hp, but the only thing is that the cars in GT4 don't slide. :indiff: In real life even karts slide (I should know since I race one). Thank God GT3 had simulation tires

Try the Mercedes SL 65 AMG. No matter what you do to the car it is still a handfull.

I hit 'that' point most recently with my Honda S2000, its not the fastest thing out there but its just so much fun to lap in.

The 905 is pure bliss. and I've piloted it to great times on the ring.
the M3GTR race car is another pure sex car. I just can't get enough of it.
Ruf BTR. I've driven laps I can't even remember in it. Love it to death.
BMW M3CSL. it lends itself to awesome driving.

Yes another that I forgot that tupacrulez just noted, the M3 GTR racer, soooo good around any track but especially the Ring, it was like the car was created for that track (it reality BMW did race the car at the Nurgurgring 24hrs with success so I'm not that surprised), so many laps, so many good memories with more to come.

I'll throw in another vote for the M3 GTR race car. It is telepathic in how it corners. But then again the Audi A4 Touring car is not too far behind. I like the power better sometimes in the A4.

Others that are near the top of my list too: Toyota GT One LMP car (another one you can just whip around the 'Ring), Audi R8 race car, and of course the Bentley Speed 8.

I prefer the AMG Mercedes Touring Car (the one with the really long name) over the BMW Touring car. Really you can't beat Germans when it comes to handling in race cars.

I have to go the BMW M3 GTR Race Car aswell. You set it up right and even with zero aids, you will have an absolutely perfectly handling car!! 473hp w/oil change stock and I was able to beat-up the Zonda LM car with it on Dream Car Championship!! 👍

OK, another one I just won for the first time today... the Toyota Altezza Touring car. I tuned it as far as you can (stock it is down a bit on power), and with 548 hp, it is just about at the right balance of power to handling. The way I have it tuned, it is truly like a scalpel carving around whatever track you throw it at. Even on New York with S3 tires (where in any other car, no matter what the tire, I always careened into the back wall at the end of the long straight, as well as in the roundabout) I can run it totally clean and enjoy the track- for the first time. On R3 tires this thing is insane with how you can take corners. You can literally go in hot, start the turn, and then realize you are running wide and cut the wheel more.... and the thing doesn't flinch. It just grips, then grips some more... and brakes like hell. I think this is my all time favorite handling car right now. Perhaps I just have the tuning right. Plus I love the fact that on the replays with it's little HID headlamp staring out of the blacked out area, it looks like a demon, sounds like one too redlining to 10K.

I have Hit 'that point' with my skyline (R34, V-spec, GT-R). Perfect handling, plenty of power, goodbrakes; or it could just be me. I will have this tune in my co-owned tune shop which is opening on sunday. Hopefully someone reviews it so I can find out if it is just me or not. :)

Was coming in to say exactly this 👍

Have no huge power upgrades - just lightened, improved the drivetrain, better suspension and brakes etc. Skylines are a joy to drive :)

i totally agree, just take a V-spec II NÜR and tune it a little bit, and it is near perfect:tup:,
i also have a setup of that in my tuneshop, not many power upgrades(451hp).

The SIL80 is also good to drift .

Mine has a fair bit more power than that( approx. 804HP) probably because I did everything possible to it. :)

READ THE 🤬 POSTS ABOVE!!
I was talking about that the skyline doesn't need alot of power upgrades!
and not about  800hp:irked:

Sorry, My Mistake. I have a bad habit of skimming over people's post's and I always miss bits and pieces of what they are trying to say.
I may have to give that skyline of yours a go. :)
SorryAgain :)

I think I've hit that point with my Aston Martin DB9. It feels like a GT car, it's so fast 'round corners.

....which is opening on sunday....
If I can find the V-Spec R34 in the used car lot. :D

Another car I've hit that point with was an old Integra. Handled great, was fast, it was even easy to drive. I lost the tune a long time ago.

Lately I've hit "that" point with an almost bone stock Acura NSX '04. It handles like it was built for my driving style, and the power isn't too much or too little. Plus, it looks great.:D

The Bentley Speed 8 and the Ford GT LM Spec II 04 both in the arcade mode.. After driving them so much for the current GTPLMS Season 4 series, I know them inside and out. The Bentley has a large redline area that suits my driving style and great control. The Ford GT, although skittish at times is fun to drive and the corners are fun when I mastered the MR factor.

Yes, using the 2000 Cobra R Mustang.

Car was my "Money Maker" for so long. Was the first car I purchased new or used, thanks to my 270R. It's just easy to drive and has good power. I could easily fall into a rhythm during races. It was nice, not having to shift much, having great power off of low revs. It was even better once I had put it on a diet.

well killer i did say it sucked till i found a track it was amazing on....and actually designed for and named after hahaha maybe i should have tried it there first. oh and its also good fun on the ring with maxed out horsepower.
